B.I.G was correct, more money more haters. Ozil has 12 months left on his contract, why should Turkish feel the need to tell him how to spend his peas? It's his bags to spend. Ozil is a grown as man, he does not need Turkish telling him how to spend his money.

I don't agree with Piers Morgan on a lot of things but he's absolutely bang on here. Ozil is an absolute disgrace. You are telling me that a guy who is paid a fortune for doing absolutely nothing can't take a 12.5 percent pay cut?? Look at youngsters like Saka who are on peanuts yet they are taking a pay cut. This man is supposed to be a "role model" and apparently cares for the club but he's been found out here. The sooner he leaves this football club the better. I honestly can't get my head around this

Its a good gesture that they are doing the pay cut thing but honestly it stops there, the optics of it . But every club has their own financial situation therefore all of them have to analyze the impact of the corona virus pandemic before they all jump into the pay cut bandwagon. nobody is questioning the fact that our club is the only one that is implementing the 1 year pay cut deal and everybody just doing quick maths and not actually analyzing the impact of it all in the long

I think it's the owners responsibility to pump money into the club and allow all the employees to keep their wage regardless of minimum/maximum wage. forget barcelona, bayern... forget every club focus on arsenal.
let an ozil agenda go for a second. the club has boasted a UCL wage on a UEL budget for time. There was no way to alter contracts until they expired. The pandemic comes along and the club is literally USING a global crisis to manipulate the public into pressuring players into cuts.
Non playing staff have had their moeny guaranteed since april 15th as per the club announcement.
April 13th/14th - news broke that arsenal players voted AGAINST a wage cut (we know from ornstein 14 said no 13 said yes)
monday 20th april - the club annouced that their was an agreement with players to take cuts after a week of public scorning and pressure from their manager.
if all non paying staff are guaranteed their wages and potentially more if the club does have games as theyll get paid again, what exactly is the money going towards? lowering the wage bill doesnt put any money into the economy so it means it stays in the club owned by kroenke. i have NEVER Seen you believe in Kroenke spending money so what on earth do you think that money is going on lol.

@@wunwun8875 as an Arsenal footballer should he not want to help the non playing staff, especially as the executives and most of the other players have taken a paycut? Besides that, he's currently sitting at home playing Fortnite and still getting full pay. The likes of Messi and Ronaldo have taken a 70% pay cut. You have to remember that football clubs have no money coming in at the moment

@@curtisj2165 yeah. I'm not sure he doesn't want to but it isn't his job. It's the job of the owner.
Sky have said they won't demand their tv money back. The club will take a hit from match day revenue but have more than enough to pay the staff. It's not Ozils job.
Maybe I would take a pay cut myself but the club basically pressuring the players to do it and backing them into a corner is wrong.
The pay cut is actually putting money into kroenkes pocket and taking money away from the government who are paying out so much to pay staff wages for many rich business owners who should be doing it themselves.
This coronavirus has got the richest people ducking their responsibilities and passing them to other people.

@@wunwun8875 i will be very surprised if Sky and BT don't demand a refund, especially as Sky has suspended payments for their subscribers. These pay cuts are to help the club. The 12.5% can't be taxed if Ozil hasn't received it. It just shows Ozil is out for himself before he goes at the end of next season

Youre not very objective about Ozil. noticed you and Lee are on the Ozil hating bandwagon!. Its Ozils money and he can do what he wants with it!

Ozil deserves a raise, at least 450K a week, he works harder than anyone commenting on him.
