Edinburg, TX here. The Mexican food and Mexican/American snacks here are great. Not just in Edinburg but the whole 956 or The Valley. For example, we don't just have corn on the cob, but it's corn with mayo, sour cream, hot sauce and chili powder. People here don't just have Hot Cheetos, but Hot Cheetos and cheese. Look up food called Botana. It's basically nachos but it has chicken, fajitas and quesadillas on top with acuacate and pico de gallo. People also love sweets here. Mexican candy, tamarindos and cokes are the best. I won't get started what we do to fresh fruit as snacks or how we have clamatos and cervezas preparadas. In addition, mesquite grows in abundance here so BBQs happen anytime of the week, not just the weekends.
Then it's hot as hell here so people usually stay indoors. It's what allows me to walk my dog without a leash. I love the Valley, except Donna.

Okay so for McAllen-Edinburg-mission it’s honestly like that because of the amount of retired veterans and older Hispanic people who don’t work anymore plus around that area like they said is a lot of fast food but also tons of Mexican restaurants and drive-thrus where you can buy hot Cheetos with cheese, elotes, or even full plates of food made there.

I'm from mcallen and litterly all to do here is just to go out in eat. Every corner has restaurants or carwahses. We usually have to travel to San Antonio if we want something fun to do.

I'm from South Texas now living in Michigan and can confirm, A LOT of ppl back home are fat af. The main reason is cuz the food is so damnnnn good. Even the gas stations down there have a built in taco stand called "Taco Laredo Company" that are better than majority tacos sold elsewhere in restaurants 🌮🌮🌮

So this is one of my fears. It might sound insane but... my fear is there'll be too much weight and the plane/ride/rollercoaster/etc will malfunction and we all die.
