She actually portrayed the character really well and her acting was on point , she deserved more recognition .
The problem with the Dark Phoenix saga in the original X-men Trilogy was never her acting. It was just that the movie was all over the place. Same thing with most of the actors that played in X-men: Apocalypse or Amazing Spider-man 2. Sometimes the talent of the actors can't save the film from sucking.
She also deserved an A-level story in X3, instead of the "aw, man, I guess we HAVE to do something since it was setup in X2" C-level treatment it got.
The Last Stand was so good. Literally my favorite one in the X men series. What do you mean? @@romanseano
I love how famke was able to make the character switch of jean and Phoenix... and all it took was a look. I personally prefer the way phoenix looks in the last stand... it was simple but dark. There was a calmness to her but yet displayed so much rage.
That is something i love in framke jean. She didnt need to show power, for us to see the transitions. A different tune of voice, a look was enough. The way she show us "the anger" so... Intense and dark.

Wanda could never destroy an infinity stone, this solely happen in the cinematic, not in comics. And she could never defeat Jean/Phoenix, even her
"no more mutants" didn't afect the most powerful mutants. Her part on the "phoenix death" storyline wasn't suscessful either due to the fact that the Phoenix could never die, and came back to life multiple times once Phoenix is life incarnated and the embodiment of creation and by not ressurrect would mean the demise of all life in the universe including Wanda's life herself. The Dark Phoenix, wich is no even the most powerful version of Jean have erased planets with billions of beings inside just by flying near it, a feature far from what Wanda has ever shown and when it cames to the supreme version "White Phoenix of the crown" Jean is so beyond everything that is believed she would only be surpassed by ''The one above all'' and ''Living Tribunal'' in the entire Marvel multiverse.

This makes me want to cry because I miss the original xmen cast. I'm just hoping and praying that when Marvel gets the rights back in a couple of years (so they say) that they choose a great cast like this one. Everybody was perfect, idc what people say. From Framke Janssen to Halle berry and even Rebecca Romijn as the original Mystique. Fox chose a great cast but Marvel would have made the movies absolutely epic.

Everytime I read or see clips about jean Phoenix it's like I have this deep emotional connection to the character, Idk if it's because of the raw power she possesses or what but I just love the character.
The Phoenix may represent the potential that all of us have to do great good, or the opposite. Limitless potential. Perhaps you relate in that way.

Fun fact: Hey you guys know ? You can thank this scene to Halle berry for wanting storm to do more in the movies. She wanted a scene that really showed storms powers and she even wanted to perform the scene herself without a stunt double. Halle berry broke a few ribs while filming that twirling tornado spin thing that she did on the X3 movie. Long story short if Halle did not push for more storm action scenes I don't think we would have seen something like this because we all know that the X-Men movies only focus on wolverine.

Those 3 movies is the foundation of all of the current xmen movies.
