Regardless of the poor writing in Dark Phoenix and The Last Stand, Sophie did a phenomenal job of bringing out Jean’s vulnerability, while Famke truly channeled the rage and more sinister aspects of the Phoenix (despite her very minimal amount of lines). Beautiful video, very well put-together!
This movie is Bad with bad Script and still some people blames actors like Famke jamsen and Sophie Turner for that is not Fair but Caroline you Right this 2 actress are awosome.
A lot of people say the "my emotions make me strong" line is just lazy amateur writing. But I feel like is was such a simple logical answer to her questions. The whole time jean feared her emotions. She was scared her anger would hurt her friends, until she realized her love was stronger than her anger and that gave her the motivation she needed to stop fearing her power and control it so she could protect the people she loves. Sometimes the simplest answer is the most powerful, and after everything Jean went through it felt right.
It is true, after all. It just felt cliche whenever the solution of your problems is just one simple thing and that may sound stereotypical but it is true. Simplicity is the guaranteed control through your problems whether it may be awful and detracting.

I really liked "Dark Phoenix" and I thought the one thing it needed was just to be a bit longer for a little more exposition. He did have that kind of arrogance to him and his point of view in 'Apocalypse', which was a far cry from how he helped Raven become a hero by actually giving her a choice instead of controlling her. But I always felt like seeing himself in the future made him feel like he was too important and too indispensable to actually be wrong. What he did to Jean traumatized her and basically allowed almost two decades worth of PTSD and instinctual fear of her own powers without knowing why they scare her to come boiling out of her with no filter, and, like Hank said, "You pushed and pushed down all that pain and anger; where did you *think* it was gonna go?!" I liked the more complicated issue of it -- Charles obviously had good intentions, but it was a terrible, terrible idea.
Charles is the Martin Luther King Jr. of the mutant world. He`s well-intentioned but his fear of the consequences of his students losing control of their powers can make him a bit of a control freak at times and whilst he stresses that mutants are still human albeit 'gifted' he especially in his younger years isn`t always as responsible with his 'gifts' as he expects his students to be, both in The Comics and Films. In the Early Uncanny and Ultimate Comics, he could be downright abusive at times!
I wouldn`t say Charles is evil necessarily but Erik,Logan,Raven and Jean aren`t wrong to see a manipulative side to him and no, I`m just talking about his mind control powers.
I really love how you used both Famke's Jean and Sophie's Jean together. I haven't really watched the X-Men movies but I much prefer Famke's Jean Grey. I think she brought more to the character and she really showed the evil in her eyes.
Jean Grey is one of the best characters in comics Jean Grey/Phoenix may not be well know as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman but don't underestimate her you may live too regret it.

I loved Famke's Jean until Sophie's Jean finally received the fate she deserved - merged with the fiery beast Phoenix and now journeying through space. I would love to see her in the MCU x-men one day, but I assume her presence would be way too overpowered compared to everyone else at this point. The same what I am fearing about Scarlet Witch :x
Two different timelines with some curious parallel developments, each involving a Phoenix struggle for Jean, yet with a different outcome. In the new timeline Charles found her a younger child in 1975 (rather than on the cusp of her teen years in 1981) with butterfly effects from the '73 divergance leading to the death of her mother, here with the insight provided to him by future-Wolverine and the profound evolution he went through back then influencing the mental barriers he places, now only blocking select memories of her parents accident instead of suppressing the lionshare of her power with memories of them (which in turn schisms her dormant split personality). What those different choices from Charles led to unfolded a different life for Jean, one where she was more socially awkward and feared by others, yet she had full knowledge of her power range as opposed to the mild mannered "nowhere near Professor's power" in the original timeline whom turned out to be a ticking timebomb. As it turned out when the revamped Jean gets her power infinitely enhanced and her mind traumatized by the cosmic force, through some human flaws and tragic circumstances she was able to not only find her way back to the light, but she evolved far greater and had risen above so much further than her original counterpart. Going on to have a son with Scott and living up to over 30 more years into the future shows she turns out far better
My favorite character of all the Marvel. One of the most complex characters in this universe. It's a shame that dark phoenix massacred this movie. I expected a lot from it. Especially on the psychological aspect of jean grey will this entity buried in it. It's such a pity that we have nothing at all. The editing of your video shows exactly what I wanted to see in the film, your editing is more a masterpiece than the film itself. Congratulations

Great video. I cried at the end of X-Men: Dark Phoenix. I felt so bad for Jean Grey. Last year when I went and saw the movie I was fighting depression due to my grandmother passing away and it brought the pain to the surface.

this is awesome but there are some sound issues - the music is louder than the dialogue when it begins to amp up and you can't hear what they're saying in contrast - if you re-edit it and fix this issue this would be the best Jean Grey Phoenix tribute. Really great job

Charles is painted as the evil, but it’s hard to see how he’s bad when he’s just trying to keep the peace among both humans and mutants.

It’s was very high levels of telekinesis and telepathy. The phoenix force saw her potential and was attracted to her.
