- To celebrate the 2024 Formula 1 season finally getting underway, Fanatec has announced a new ClubSport Racing Wheel F1 bundle; a high-end F1-focused, direct drive package for serious sim racers.
The Fanatec ClubSport Racing Wheel F1 bundle includes the ClubSport DD+ wheel base, compatible with PC, PS4 and PS5, alongside a new officially licensed Formula 1-style steering wheel, which will only be available with this specific bundle and can't be purchased separately. You can also use it with Xbox consoles when an Xbox-licensed wheel is fitted to the wheel base. It also happens to be the new official hardware of the F1 Sim Racing Pro Series, so you'll see it in future F1 Sim Racing events.

I purchased this and it is an absolute game changer! I got it along with the V2 pedals to get fully into the Fanatec ecosystem…It all arrived within 5 days of purchase too.
My lap times are already in line with where they were on my T-248, definitely a learning curve for both the DD and the load cell pedals. If you can afford it, I highly recommend this bundle. I don’t think it was mentioned, but this bundle comes with the Q2 installed, making the costs even more efficient with this bundle. Oh and it’s so QUIET! Nearly silent, which is also impressive.

Got mine due tuesday, also grabbed the GT Extreme bundle. Wanted both wheel rims so I'll sell a spare base! haha
I felt way more then the dd1 when side by side it was so much quicker with delivery also.
How was the feel for the wheel paired with cls pedal instead of csl pedals v2
I purchased the f1 package for gt7. I’m not liking the driving characteristics. For some reason I think that if I purchased the extreme bundle with the GT wheel it would work a lot differently ( more like it should without driving a F1 car. What’s your take on that?

im a consol gamer with no interest to go to PC. So with F124 out id love to have a review of what this particular wheel is like on F124. What features work/dont work. is force feedback in the game for this wheel? no one has done a video on this F1 wheel with that F1 game. so youd be the first.

What pedals are compatible with this steering for PS5?
Is it worth update from CSL DD 8 nm to Clubsoport 12 nm >? Is it have better track detail or just more pure FFB and more smoothness ?
More consistent, stronger FFB, but wouldn’t say it’s more detailed, it definitely performs better for longer periods!
@@Mirror.Gaming 10x for fast answer I just have dilemma because my CSL 8 nm DD is like new with warranty . I use it on AC , ACC - 65-70% FFB and it’s enough for me but in AC on Nurburgring nordschleife with some more powerful cars like LaFerrari and some other 600-700 hp+ I see a lot of clipping in long fast corners . In ACC never have problem or iRacing . So this why I think if update worth it :)
I have both on two different rigs to directly compare them and the Dd + is alot more detailed and a lot faster at the same 8 nm and it feels stronger still. it feels like the Dd pro is 6 nm and peaks at 8
@@P.I.D.27you can lower it abit more real cars are about 3 to 4 nm since you have stear assist in real cars when talking about gt and f1 then 7 to 5 nm is good
Is it possible to use this bundle with GT7, can you configure the wheel and stuff like that?
Yes
GT7 is all I use it for! It does default to the GT wheel but all buttons are configurable except the 2 scroll/roll “buttons.” Those default to brake balance and fuel mapping, which is what I would use them for anyway. The only thing i can think of that it doesn’t do on Playstation is the launch feature for standing starts, that’s strictly PC.
So no 2nd set of paddles for launching... That's extremely disappointing, guess I'll be sticking with my McLaren GT3 V2..

Fanatec makes amazing products could not be happier with my DD1
I prefer my 2023 f1 edition but this one’s is ok. it’s funny how fanatec pisses off they’re own customers so bad with these releases. Metal qr included at the same price as the Dd extreme wheel and that one came with a plastic qr2 😂 extreme has double pedals but still funny 😂
also the fact theyve not updated this desgin what so ever for many years ... not even light up buttons

With all the issues Fanatec currently has with customer service, I avoid all of their products like the plague.
