To be fair, I do buy games on sale which need a PC with better specs than the one I own. I then wait until I have the budget to upgrade the PC and finally play the game.
i've played every single games i've payed: warpips tabs terratech teamfight manager scrap mechanic omori kingdom new land gladiator guild manager comsoteer airships: conquer the skies and they all had really good price reductions
I always pirate my games and then support the developer by buying a copy but continue using the pirated version due to versioning and mods compatibility etc.
i have over600 games on steam and never played more than half of them... like i have some hours on them but its thanks to idledaddy... but thing is if i spend like 100 hours on youtube watching a videos on that specific game i will buy it because even if i will never play it i consumed content out of that game and i think ist unfair for developer not to support them
I originally had a really bad HP Laptop which i used for gaming. When there were good sales of games i thought i would love or really wanted, i bought them, to play them when i got a better PC. I now built a mid to high end machine like ¾ of a year ago and got through only 2 of my bigger games and like 3-4 indie games, but these with 100% achievements.
I never payed for any game in my pc beside the gtav and ac Odyssey ( i spent 1 dollar on them because they were cracked ) so i dont know what it feels like to buy a game
Disco Elysium is going to sit rotting on my Steam Library until my brain starts working to the level that game deserves
