- I had a little too much to drink and late at night I wasn't paying attention when I ordered these lenses off Amazon.
The Viltrox AF 23mm 1.4 Z and the Viltrox AF 33mm 1.4 Z
I took these lenses to Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale Arizona last weekend to test them out.
Filmed with the Nikon Z7II Z6II and Z5

Thanks for saying what you used for audio. I now know to stay away from Rode video mic pro and Zoom H1 pre-amp.
Does it auto crop? So just fitting it would add a big vignette?
I like your watch mate
Thank you!
Hi, i dont know if i underdtand that right. If i use a DX lens on my Z5 i dont have the crop of 1.7 in 4k? So i could use the kit (16-50mm) lens from the Z50 and avoid the big crop?
No, the Z5 has a fixed 1.7x crop at 4k. So whether you use the kit lens or a dx lens your 1.7x crop will be in effect. Because my Z5 is a backup/3rd body for my niece, having the dx lenses wasn't worth it for me.
I have z6 so if i use this viltrox 23mm f1.4 lens then what will be my focal length?
34.5mm but you'll also not have your full MP either since it's in DX mode.
@@ShuaPhotography approximately 35mm right? Its oke but how about the Fstop, it's still f1.4 aperture when we use in Fullframe?
Hi, I’m wondering if you had to do any lens calibration?
I did not have to do any calibration.
@@ShuaPhotography thanks for quick reply and great review btw.
@@itzzDizZY I appreciate the feedback! No problem!
