looks like a very relaxing way to reel mow...LOL> I like it! As a fellow lawn care biz guy.....that hearing protection works better when worn over the ears....LOL. Just teasin pete...the ventrec didnt seem to loud in the video, but hard to tell . i know how that goes sometimes. Its hot, tons to do, and simple things get overlooked. Im trying to recover my bermuda from the overseed job I attempted in winter. I KNOW I Know...i shouldnt of done it...but had to try. Never again. Paint it next time. Got PGR on it now and reel mowing it to get it back where I can putt on it again.

Ok Pete I need to thank you bro. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my yard these last two years. That’s when I started following your cool season lawn care guide. My yard looks so good that I get compliments all the way from Memphis and I live in Indianapolis ( I’m not joking). Now my neighbor wants me to get her yard in order. So I told her what she needs to get from you as far as the bio-stimulants and the cool blue. She said let’s do it so I’m going to start Saturday and nuke her yard so it will be ready this fall. I'm reminded of a story that Harmon Killebrew (MLB star hitter) told of playing baseball with his sons in his yard back in the 1960s.
They apparently were getting after it pretty good when his wife shouted to him, "Harmon, the YARD!"
He shouted back, "We're raising boys, not grass!"
So I always played in the yard with my kids too, years later.
Trying to push my partner to order your grass seed lol. I sent him outside with a measuring tool to figure out the square footage hours ago - it's now raining and I still don't have the dimensions yet haha.

I’m not sure if they do them for the c34 allett but what you need is the trailing seat . I know they do them for the Buckingham and Westminster . I always imagine my self mowing with one like a gentleman. Sad I know hahahah
If I ever get enough land to justify a ventrac, I will definitely be buying one. You can do SOO much with that thing.

Which products can mix together so that I don't need to do separate 4 applications?
Yes, I know about taking small sample and mixing in a jar (jar test), but I would really like to know from those that have combined some of these products together and results.

Bigger gas tank would be nice but it does ok as is. It’s kinda crazy. No matter what attachment I’m using I can get 4 hours run time off one fill up. It’s 4 hours no matter what lol

Hey Pete,can you tell me,at the 14:50 mark,are them Emerald Green Arborvitae’s? I’m looking at putting a row in for privacy.Is there a certain kind you would recommend?
Those are green giants, not emeralds. There’s a double row with what looks to be 4 feet between the rows. The spacing between each tree in a single row looks between 8-10 feet. I would love for him to give us a definite answer because it’s absolutely beautiful and in 3-4 years will be a stunning thick privacy hedge you can’t see through. A video on it would be awesome.
Not to burst your bubble, but in 1956 Locke had a reel mower that had a 70" cut ... they were all self propelled but were walk behind

do the duals help with reducing turf destruction or do they maybe make it some worse on turning?
Yes and no. Brand new tires with all 8 on you have to be VERY careful turning around. Once the sharp edges on the tires wear down a little they are the best thing since sliced bread lol

Seems like the reel drops too fast when you lower it back down to the ground. Looks pretty rough. Any adjustments you can make on the hydros? Maybe just gradually lower the implement instead of a quick dump?
Does it make me a bad person that I wanted to see you overlap that High Grass behind your shed by a couple inches just to see how well your grass would take it

Check out your local golf courses, ours here has the setup to sharpen theirs and they’ll do other peoples too for a small fee 👍🏼
