In 1993 we were crazy to buy a $16k lawn mower...we still run it. And an 04 Ventrac and a 2020 4500...They are great. Tough tractors...If they had a 90hp unit it would be called a payloader...
I mowed a lot of wal marts and the retention pond company had a bunch of those .. they will go on terrain you can’t even stand on very cool pice of equipment!
A ventrac would be great for my 4acre Yard, Takes me a couple hours to mow. I could probably knock it out in 30 mins with that. I might have to do some research on Ventrac My self.

If you want nice strips you gotta have the roller type striper on the deck,it does the best job.I looked at one of those fracture aerators to mount on a 3pt hitch,they're not cheap but they do a great job. You can get one Pete all it takes is a signature. lol
Is it expensive? Yeah But you won't get that quality of product machine with Wal Mart price! You get what you pay for and with this you not only get quality but also reliability to the extreme.
I really like the flip up deck. I have the older 72" deck and they are heavy to stand up. Not as nimble as a zero turn but it does so much more. The only problem is finding the room for all the attachments your going to buy.. Most versatile peice of equipment I own.

For me . . . I am seeing this machine making a slight three point turn at the end of each stripe. I've been cutting four acres for eleven years and gonna jump all over the JD Zmaxx 997R in 72" and 37 hp. I think a zero turn will make a nicer looking job. No tapered off stripe at the end. Ventrac makes the most radical color contrast in their stripes . . . but I dont like the pattern at the ends .

Nice video, Pete. Nice machine too. When you set a goal you will find a way to achieve it. Put a picture of that machine taped to your.bathroom mirror so you will see it everyday and achieve that goal sooner. Would have liked to seen aerial shots from your drone of those stripes.
Ventracs are nice ,I love mine! You don’t need to buy a new one although if you can swing it, and have work for it, it’s the best way .I only put 50-100 hrs a year tops on mine so I didn’t feel a new one would pay at this point of me downsizing the business.... I don’t mow much with mine as my zero turns mow much faster , I use it for steep hillside mowing and brush hogging with duals, plowing snow, aerating,tilling,trenching,, slip scooping gravel and grading and blowing leaves. Only downside to the ventrac is its weight size with attachments it’s long....by itself it’s very compact , it takes up an entire trailer by itself my 20x8.5 enclosed it’s very hard to fit it in with even one small zero turn when I could otherwise easily fit 3 zero turns or a pair of ztrs and a walk behind
I plan to get a new one at some point. I am most interested in it for the aeravator and seed box. That combo will save me hours and hours a week. We seed around 300-400 lawns each fall so I can put it to good use! Thanks for the insight!
GCI Turf Services for your intended use it would be an excellent investment ! Hope you are able to get one soon, don’t underestimate the rototiller as a profit generator , it’s an amazing attachment .

I mean I could see buying a ventrac if you have plenty of money and it don't hurt you at all to.drop their asking price and then buy the extra attachments that you might need and I'm sure they are expensive as well but for the mid sized lawn care service I can't see where it would be an asset
You ever thought about getting their contour deck? Only issue is its rear discharge vs side discharge on your current one. Either way it will look amazing. Love those stripes!!
Those are nice machines...if you have $20k or more to buy it and the attachments needed. I'd love one for our property but since it wouldn't be able to do the heavier jobs that our John Deere 4120 can do, I can't justify buying a Ventrac which would mostly end up being used for mowing. I use a John Deere Z960M for the 'lawn' mowing but a rotary cutter (bush hog type of mower) for the field.
How many sqft is a single BIO-STIMULANT PACKAGE good for and it being a "starter pack" what with and how often do I follow up? I'm in FortWorth Texas pretty darn hot , dry and sunny.
The hydro oil cooler has a switch on it. Normally, the fan draws air from your right side and blows hot out the rear, but if the switch is set to winter heat function, it does blow right out on you -- it is supposed to so you have heat in winter with cab.
NO doubt man....that thing lays some serious stripes!! WOW You should never have done that though...because now its going to eat at ya until you have it....LOL. 72 inches makes short work of that yard I'm guessing. How well did it handle in the tigher areas?

They bring that 3 cylinder up to full throttle no matter what they're doing. A good mower for homeowners.

try sitting on that thing when its 95 degrees out. The oil cooler is right below your right arm. Hottest mower i've ever been on.

No need for a stripe roller with those wheels..
Too wide stripes and heavy imprint of tires on grass will take a toll on lawn , It would be fine even look better with a regular exmark 50 inch cut.
