My AMT 76 Nova Drag Race Car (Luka's Builds#10)

If you do not know about the AMT 76 "Street Customs" Chevy Nova mode car kit. Under the ownership of RC2 back in 2004. This kit was released with quite the nice surprise when you opening the box. A tubbed race car chassis!!!

Thanks for sharing , what a beautiful build ! Love the stenciled tire letters ! I have this kit as the super Nova and was surprised it had mini tub and lenco transmission, I put all kinds of goodies on it , I wonder if we may see a cowl hood mold one day for this kit ? 😊😊

There's an older man around the corner from me that drives a 75 nova with a four speed same color as that has weld rims and skinny tires up front and a cowl hood

I have been thinking of buying, I was at the local hobby shop and I saw there this mpc squad rod. It had big carburetors in one pic in the box if I remember right. It's funny cause you won't find it in their online store

I am glad to see your warped hood, because it matches the warped resin hood on my '66 Jungle Jim Nova, he rarely ran the car with the hood anyway. It's because building should be fun that we accept the character flaws. Looks really good under that hood too!

Fantastic build! and it's really holding up nicely after almost 2 decades. I've built multiples of it. Love this kit... How about a Round II reissue? it's over due (IMO) Recently I went into my Disco Nova Junkyard and pulled several of these out to refurbish them. Thanks for showcasing this fine example Luka!
