- On this Luka's Kits. We are taking a look at an oldie MOPAR but a goodie MOPAR kit. It is one of my favorites that I built back in the mid 80's and still remember the fun I had with it.
Enjoy,
L.C.

I have this kit also - If I remember correctly, I purchased it at a now-defunct New England-based home & auto store called Benny's at their closing sale. Miss that store .....
Built kit 30 yrs.ago!
Still have it!
As soon as I saw that tire on the roof I said, "Oooo - that's gonna leave a mark." Just that crappy 90s / early 2000s Chinese fake rubber. Happens with old slot cars too from that era - the tires leak oils or if you leave them sitting on the track they melt into the track. Had that kit back in the day - painted it yellow like my sister's Barracuda when I was a kid.
Man, that is a killer kit! Love it.
I have this kit in my stash. I can't remember the last time I looked at it. Thanks for the review.
Built this same kit with the same box art back in the early eighties good looking kit.love your channel.
Great to see you back.
I'm looking at one now and trying to make the decision as to pull the trigger and make the purchase, After watching this...out comes the wallet. Thanks for helping make the decision.
I used to like MPC kits. They usually looked good and they didn't cost as much as the AMT or Revell kits. I'm on old Mopar guy and I never saw this kit before.
Another great review of an older Kit. As a newer hobby builder I really find these interesting,
Don't forget '74 'Cudas - from '72 to '74 they all had the round tail lights but the '73 and '74's ugly rubber bumper blocks were bigger like on this model. But the last of the big blocks and high compressions went out in '71 so all '72 and later 'Cudas were fun but not particularly fast. I had a this car at age '21, a real one that is - $4k out the showroom. 7 to 15 mpg - ahh the good old days. 💀
Epic kit Luka! Classic Vintage MPC! Wonderful. I'd love to drag race this one to see how fast it is. Makes a real nice stationary piece as well.
Cool kit of a great subject, I've never seen this one anywhere so it must be quite rare today.
Nice review. Thanks for sharing Luka
First thing I clicked on as soon as I saw it cool and simple like life should be.
Aside From The Freakin Acid Melted Tire Damage, It's Not a Bad Looking Kit. Thanks For Sharing Luka n Have a Blessed Week Brother.
Never seen this kit before this review. Good basic kit with potential. The Motown Missile was my all time favourite Pro Stocker and I built the MPC kit a number of times. Love Hemi Cudas even more today.
Then you've got to find this kit and get a set of Slixx decals and build another one.👍 im getting back on mine when the Chevelle Stock Eliminator is done.
LOVE the new intro!
Nice one Luka!!
Awesome kit! I recently missed out on getting one locally was very expensive. I love these old kits, I have a cool Johan pro street cuda. I'm not sure if I will build it lol its so neat!
Thats a very nice kit luka looks gteat very nice 👍👌
Great kit... I have one in the stash
Yep, that's a cool kit!
Nice kit review man
Cool kit......let's see some builds brother
Built one of these kits as a kid and never saw another one. Would love to see this kit get repopped.
Cool kit Luka! I’d probably get the Motown Missile decals and build it as a Pro Stock. Imagine that....🤣
That's what Im doing with that yellow one. Do you have one of these kits?
I agree back in the day they where simple but nice kit
It’s a kool kit but the 1s i seen are pricy , I Have a 70 ‘Cuda my high school car graduated in 1983 ... lol
interested to see how this one goes together
Bummer on those tyre marks. I've only ever had that happen once before but I have experienced 'rubber' tubing sticking to decals too
Hey great video when u lived in radford did u race slot cars and larrys place if u did we know each other i miss that place i helped put the drag strip in and we raced on that and then poof they where gone most of the drvers at the race track would come in and we had some big slot car races
That was me. I still have those slot cars, too. We would paint up bodies as cars from the track. I even had one like Ronnies #9 Chrysler. I was Munk Marion's Crew Chief in 93. Were you the one in Ronnies team?
@@TheLukaCeeChannel yep that was me dang we had fun the track is a joke now the last race i went to they had 8 late models mike looney won the championship last year now this covid stuff has closed the track all year
Yeah. I have heard. I still keep in touch with my old bud, Dennis Smith. He keeps me up with stuff there. I am really hoping to come out there for a visit next year and attend the MDA show in Salem. I would love to get down to the ol track and see it.
@@TheLukaCeeChannel cool maybe we will see each other if the track is open im there been going since 88 when it opened back up ive seen dale earnhardt drive my dads freinds car and got to hang out with them when he drove it he was a mad man
That’s a hard kit to find
How much of that Pro Street Barracuda was carried over to the Hemi Cuda(blue) Street Machine?
Basic chassis but you could spend the rest of your life making a fully accurate one. Provided the wheels are correctly centred why worry?
Thanks for showing us the contents, I wonder if anyone ever used that hideous spoiler?
I feel the same way. Why bother. Years ago I hacked one up trying to make is "Better". It never got finished. I have NEVER seen that spoiler used. YUK🤢
The Luka Cee Channel on a couple of occasions I’ve tried to do a fully accurate chassis but you’re starting with a floor that in scale is three inches thick, you can’t get flexible brake hoses for steering, or fully adjustable suspension, or a steering rack that’s strong enough and still in scale unless you start scratch building in brass. That’s way beyond my skill level.
I’m just happy now if the paint is shiny.
Awsem videos. Can anyone help I need a 1:25 auto trans with starter on drivers side please help
Life sucks
