A good one to start with.
My brother and I run NHRA Stock. He had a 68 Chevelle. He used the 396, 325 HP Q-Jet version. That first car in the video used to belong to a friend of mine. It is still in competition. Your kit is spot on! The tires look great. Those Hoosier 9x30 radial slicks measure 29.5" tall with a 9.5" tread. Great job.

I found this kit a Hobby Lobby on clearance for like $7.50. I might do it up similar to the Chevelle from the movie "Talladega Nights". The black and gold paint scheme looks awesome.
I used to run those moroso valve covers in gold/anodized yellow. They were common and cool back in my play days. Thanks luka

Have been looking for stock eleminator tires, given up.and putting the closest I can find on them. Love thos stock, super/stock drag cars.
80s Revell kits had those black plastic slicks in halves. Nobody likes um. So I snag them up. I love them that's what's I use on any of my small tire drag cars.

NHRA stock eliminator - stock carb and stock intake - the 396 aluminum (silver) intake used a holley carb . . . . the 396 cast iron (painted orange) used the Rochester q-jet

That 68 is looking REALLY good! I’d love to see that finished. I think I might have to get another 68 (or 69) and try the same. You’ve inspired another project idea (on top of the 1000 others…😂)

I feel you man I was finishing up the Tyrone Malone drag truck then I got COVID and it took about three weeks to get enough strength to finish it
Thank you for the music i can dance once again now that family's doing real good and home recovering bad guys behind bars the next few days will be busy painting motorhomes and a few vehicles finished one vehicle and part of a motorhome a couple hours ago no time to get on the model bench im like man everyone is building except for me lol i got a funny video coming up in a few minutes

A note about the Pro Stock/Pro Street Camaros: I am pretty they have been reissued recently making them a little more affordable and available.
The re issues are not exactly the same. And do not come with those valve covers. I did a video a few years back comparing them.
I have a proclivity for the unfinished.. after watching this, I'm going to gather and build the "Luka Cee Unbuild build" - Can you get a bit more specific on the rear tires source? I'm only recently getting back into modeling as an adult and building up a parts stash so I'm gonna have to find them.
The Revell 78 Stepside Chevy pick up. Not 100% sure.
