neat idea!, did you also build the small plane?,if not give it a go they are fun to make and are most satisfying to use, ive made a few out of scrap brass and copper with wood infill

What was that tiny plane thingy? And I am curious about the holder, did you film the making of it? It seems a nice holder. Definitely a thumbs up for me! Seems like I have to learn a bit more, as can be seen in my recent uploads.

Black Beard Projects I think it can be a usefull plane, but for small things. Maybe in the future when you ever need to make a new holder for it, you can film it and put it on CZcams ;)

Thanks! It's a tool holder, hand plane need to be stored carefully or the blade can be damaged. I built this so I always know where to place it and I don't accidentally ruin it :)
Black Beard Projects I hadn't thought about that, couldn't you also route a channel into the wooden base plate so that the blade could sit freely and not possibly be blunted by the wood? Just a thought
I'm pretty sure that soft pine won't damage the blade and moreover I trust Matthias Wandel xD
