I believe this version will be much kinder to shoulder joints. Start slowly but pick up speed and number of reps as you get more practice. Not locking out your elbows on the press will save wear and tear on elbows.
I hope it is, The others I've followed are kelling my shoulders.

Why one has to avoid overextending of the arms in the last step?
Aim is to use muscles of & around shoulder joint to help takeup/utilise bl sugar. By overextending u r decreasing benefit & also causing stress on other mucles & joints.
Dr. Zack Bush created the NO dump exercise routine; his yt video has better form, instruction and demonstration. My diabetic regime only modified diet, not exercise. The pace of this version is not likely to exhaust muscles enough to create nitric oxide unless the person is unaccustomed to exercise.
Perhaps he slowed it down for demonstration purposes only

Yes you can. Also follow it after the meals also.
According to Dr. Zach Bush who invented this he says to go very fast not slow like this gentleman is doing and to do this at least 3 times a day
This gentleman MODIFIED this exercise to suit his needs, and he states that clearly in the title "modified nitric oxide dump".
@@inveritategloria So do you want a medal or a chest to pin it on ? I know it says MODIFIED, I can read, I was pointing out Dr. Bush's method. Some people appreciate this but others like you just want to argue
No exercise shld be done fast and hurt joints. It shld be slow and effective in joints and muscles.
I think all these originated from india.

As far I know this NOD I have to do Three times a day 1hour 45 minutes after every meal . Am I right ??

I can not do knee bends
Go very slow with your body. Look up beginner stretch yoga videos. Massage your knees with warmed up oil.Start with sitting or lying down gentle stretches.After about a week of these, your knees will start opening up. Also, sit-stand with a chair about 10 times one round , 3 times a day to open up knees.
