    My one relative is completely vegetarian. He is super strong super fit energetic and he is 90yr old . He is inspiration to many.. he is a brahmin priest. So i can definitely claim vegeterian diet with a good daily routine is perfect for good health

      50% of your plate should have vegetables - you can do 25% from a salad (like carrots, cucumbers, beetroot) and 25% from a cooked vegetable. 25% should be filled with starch (choose a complex carb - 1 roti or 1/2 cup cooked brown rice or millets) and 25% should be filled with protein like a dal or rajma or channa or tofu or tempeh or eggs or fish or meat. Try to walk for 10 minutes after each meal. These are simple tips that we can try to incorporate. Hope this helps. I recently became a vegetarian so getting the daily requirement of protein can be difficult. My non vegetarian husband eats a tofu scramble with lots of veggies along with me. It’s tough to do this with family support. I go to the gym and do strength and resistance training with moderate weights so I started taking a protein smoothie after my workout. This may not be required if you don’t workout as much. Climbing stairs is much better than just walking if possible.

    Well you take advice that works for you from Dr. Berg videos. He does share good knowledge many a times. But yes, coming to Indian diet etc. he has no knowledge. Coming to diet there are major culture shifts and westerners have less understanding of our food. The very sorry part is one gets trolled by our own Indians who don’t understand our diet based upping our genes, community and culture that is indigenous to us.

    So let me ask you something you hastag dr berg but nor care about ancient ayurvedic practice and its wonderful recommendation. All these cool modern terms of intermittent fasting and eating a high fiber protein low carb diet looks and sounds cool how are they any diff from eating one meal or 2 meals a day and not eating anythng after sunset as recomended by ayurveda? Moreover ayurveda has concepts of virudh ahar that creates havoc to gut bacteria focusses on good fat like ghee pure cold pressed oils lots of veggies seasonal fruits it even tells you to eat whole fruits before meals so as to not spike the insulin. I can go on and on modern sicence is only beginnjng to understand and discover what we learnt ages back yet we choose to hashtag dr berg who is not a doc but a chiropractor who happens to read a lot and then present the info to his audience like all tubers

      @@MrAalliswell I know exactly who he is and his achievements what he has been saying and promoting isn't new any person who is aware of what causes type 2 diabetes and is proactive enough to do some scientific readings will know what Dr tripathi is saying isn't new. High fiber good fats and lean protein doesn't spike insulin carbs specially simple carbs do add intermittent fasting to it and so on .. ever heard of keto diet that's a high fat high fiber moderate protein and less than 20gms of carbs per day or one meal a day and concepts like this is specially tailored to deal with insulin resistant or diabetic patients. Don't even get me started on this becusse I have been reading all the latest research papers on this for the last 5 years and I reversed my dad's diabetes without the aid of a single doc or medicine. Read my comment again and understand what I said. I did not doubt or question dr triparti s knowledge or techniques rather I was amused at his tagging berg and not ayurveda where most of these western techniques are already mentioned

    Haha joke of the year ! It’s not only Indian men who have a pot belly - it’s American men too and European men and American women and Indian women and European women and every country men and women practically who are 5o plus and eat lots of carbs n have. Pot belly ! Want to see? I can show a picture if interested lol 😂

      Yes... Pot belly is common every where... And Indians tend to have in larger proportions due to reasons mentioned
      It's about statistics and masses my dear friend...lol 😆

    When I increased my mutton intake, I found lot of positive change. I already reversed diabetes by reducing carb and increasing fat and protein. Important change is Apple Cider Vinegar, very good for diabetics and pre diabetic. I am doing strength exercise since last 40 years. But, change in diet changed my life. I lost 10kg after changing diet and that mostly visceral fat. One more recommendation from me is take 4 capsules of cod liver oil daily

      Claiming to reverse diabetes BY NOT CONSUMING CARBS is like keeping oneself in a cocoon and never exposing oneself to the challenges of life.
      If you are able to clear GTT and handle carbs with normal sugars then it's called reversal
      We've been doing this for 11 years and understood a individualised balanced approach with progressive changes works
      Do read to researches that link meat/mutton consumption with cancers.
      Take care in the long run and be in touch with experts otherwise while trying to clear one problem (diabetes) you attract many other issues including accelerated ageing which is common on a non veg diet

    Dr Berg's video is better, go watch that. This just sounds like revenge video with no leads or logic except proving others wrong.

      You've completely missed the major points ... Insteadof hyping up SIBO (which is irrelevant in regular Indian diet), h pylori (which happens for select few) ... CARB PORTION CONTROL IS IMPORTANT.
      Also recommending carnivore diet en masse to everyone has it's own issues of increase in acid, inflammation, insulin resistance, cancers, etc.
      Wish you were more judicious in answering after studying the video closely... 🎉

      The cause for pot belly is not the healthy cards that Indians eat. It's because of the western diet that Indians are adding such as Mcdonalds etc. Why would Dr Tripathi be revengeful? His FFD program has actually cured people of diabetes. Dr Berg is just promoting carnivorous diet. His videos also don't have any evidence. They are just his opinions.

      Ise kehte hai foreigners ki maansik gulami. Aap khud calculate Karo ki aap kitna fiber lete ho phir fact check karna Dr berg ka. Mai Dr berg ka bhi faan hu. Lekin wo India me nahi rahe hai.

    I am punjabi guy from UK. Was strong as an ox. Came to India, the shopping, food, the gyms all trash. Never felt so weak and disgusting in my whole life. Joined a Boxing gym. I am 48. I was running circles stamina nad strength around 18yr olds. I was like wtf. Out of 40 people I am top 2/3 fit and rest of glass mainly under 25.
