This is the lady who when testifying in Ethan’s trial, He shed tears. He also obviously spared her life. She knew him since elementary school and said his name. And the way she interacted with student all friendly and caring he probably was very fond of her and embarrassed to disappoint her. I think those feeling along with her describing giving aid to Tate Myre really brought out Ethan’s emotions. Just sad all around.

For those questioning why this administrator didn't try and stop the shooter. I don't know if ALICE protocols in Michigan are taught to fight at any point. However, I do know that this lady showed incredible courage and love. Even if she was taught to fight, NOBODY knows what they'll do in that situation. And from what I understand just from what she said, and from the acronym, it sounds like she should've been out of that hallway, and not by Tate, and not talking to the killer. Let's just all pray for this lady, pray for Tate and all the families involved, and try, in our words, not to make things worse. And I guarantee that, with her personality, she is probably blaming herself for not doing more, even though she clearly did all she could.

Lol! But in all seriousness, if your Republican neighbors are anything like my Texas Republican family members, it's probably because they're viewing this as an attack on the second amendment without bothering to learn any of the other facts here. This isn't about the right to bear arms; it's about two parents who KNEW their son was disturbed and struggling with serious mental health issues, and they just ignored it. Even when he kept asking for help. The fact that they bought their son a gun in his mental state is just one piece of the evidence against them. They almost certainly could have prevented this had they intervened and got him the help he clearly needed. I'll admit that even I was kind of leery about the parents being charged here, until I looked at the other evidence and saw the pattern of apathy and disinterest and failure to do anything a parent is expected to do.

But even she, based on her testimony, did not see that the shooting was foreseeable.
The parents are guilty of child abuse child, neglect, etc. and they should be punished because of that.
To say that both of the parents should have foreseen that their son was going to shoot up the school is incorrect. The way the involuntary manslaughter law is defined- they should not be convicted for that. Yes, they deserve to be punished but not for involuntary manslaughter as defined by law.
I don’t understand the judge. why she can’t keep it together? Maintain the order and decorum of the courtroom for God sakes. She needs to tighten on the reigns.
