Of course both parents are guilty. When a parent purchases a weapon for a minor's use, they are responsible for that weapon. So you better make sure the weapon it locked secure and unloaded
when not in use; and aware of where it is at all times. There's a reason a minor can't buy a weapon. Buyer beware.

AND, pay attention to your kid. If your kid isn't doing anything outside the home, i.e., sports, music, theatre, and on and on, and doesn't have a friend group, and getting in trouble in school, maybe as parents, you should talk to him. Find out what's happening in his life. Instead of following the request from the school for him to get immediate help, they did not. And let's not forget the pleas for help and drawings. Mommy and daddy were too busy dinking around with other people and not parenting.

What happened that day is about the children. However, the trial is about the law. The prosecutor didn't prove the law was broken. Her closing argument is it took 10 minutes to call 9-11 AFTER the shooting occurred? That's fast AF! IDK that I would have even considered calling 911 since the only reason I would have been aware of the shooting is because it's active, so the police already know. The prosecutor acting like shock isn't a real thing is what's wrong with the US legal system. This is a dangerous case, and the prosecutor did a horrible job in closing. Rest in peace to the deceased. It was terrible, but that doesn't mean others are criminally liable. What's next, prosecuting the teacher that gave them 48 hours for therapy? If the kid wanted therapy so bad, why didn't he wait 48 hours since it was guaranteed then? Why prosecute Ethan as an adult and simultaneously conveniently use his actual age as a child to convict the parents? This is abhorrent. Ethan had terrible parents as parents. They are Trumpers, so they are generally incredibly dumb also. That doesn't make them criminals.
