    Couldn’t see a thing when you was removing the brake disc, so I missed which screws to remove, the only thing I needed to know and the most important part.

    Newbie here. I was so happy to see this video pop up. And then you left me hanging. It is useless to do a how to video if you are going to remove the caliper without a close up, then cut to a shot with the tire already removed. You are not making this for us newbies. You made this for someone already knowing how to change a bike tire. Gave it a thumbs down in frustration.

    Thanks for the video. I suggest inflating tube after installing to get the wrinkles out, then deflating, install the core and inflate. Also install a piece of bent cardboard in the brake caliper to keep it from closing!

    Fixed many flats and have never had to remove the brake caliper! You are just setting up other problems. The loosened wheel will just drop out and easily go back in.

      Please help i think ive been doing dumb shit my whole life.. YOU CAN PATCH A BIKE TIRE WITHOUT REMOVING THE WHEEL?!!!! How🤦🏻🤦🏻?!!

    • @hasan_z
      @hasan_z Před rokem +1

      @@slimyzombie just use a tyre lever to pop the tyre off the rim. If possible, patch the tube in situ. Obviously it's still trapped within the frame of the bike. I think it helps to inflate the repaired tube a little to put the tyre back on (it also checks to see if the repair holds up).
      If you need to change inner tube you will need to remove the wheel from the bike

    • @TheFreshPeddler
      @TheFreshPeddler Před rokem

      @taotli - with a bike its easy to patch wheel on or swap tubes and patch at home. ebike its def more tedious with the cables and clips/snapties etc.
      to patch wheel on just get the tire off the rim on one side, feel for thorns etc in tire, use saliva to find/test holes in tube then patch.

    The bike shown in the video is the one I own, an Extreme Scooters XB300-Li Trail Maker. The video covers the process well, and gave me the info I needed to change both tires on my bike in a little over an hour ... saving me about $100 of fees from the bike shop (not mention the two weeks' wait I'd have had to get the bike back). THANK YOU!

    • @wmpuig
      @wmpuig Před 7 lety +2

      One point I forgot to mention, and that others might want to keep in mind ... changing the rear tire on your bike often will require touch-up retuning of your derailleur. When I changed my rear tire it caused me to lose the ability to shift into first gear. The retuning process is easy - it took just a few minutes with a Phillips screwdriver - but in my case was a definite "must do."

    had a curb crash, am using an electric Ancheer folding bike. was very dark, my roads traffic lights do not signal for bikes unless a car is on the road because of weight limit of traffic lights so I was forced to use a sidewalk(which is not a bike trail) we live in a hick town, the cycle came on a low part of a curb that I thought was a clear ramp was only a lower curb, no clear ramp on that particular street. anyway, the front tire(not to do directly with video topic) hit going at around 10 mph. I don't know what tube to use on an Ancheer electric folding bike this one, www.amazon.com/ANCHEER-Lightweight-Integrated-Lithium-Ion-Suspension/dp/B01MUAG7U5 can't find much info on this and no one will tell me. I don't even know if I should just replace the whole mag wheel/tire assemby not just the tube. it hit pretty hard, but it only damaged the air valve stem(tangibly) I don't know what intangible damage was done. I don't know which tube to use on this bike, I do know the stem is rubber, that is why the thing got flat.

    • @electricavenue2204
      @electricavenue2204  Před 7 lety +1

      It's hard to say if it's worth fixing or not without seeing the bike. To know which tube you would need we would have to know the tire size. It might be best to contact the manufacturer and find out if there are any authorized dealers or service centers near you so that you can take it by and have it checked out. Sorry that we couldn't be of more service to you. If you have any additional questions please feel free to call us!
