he surely didnt exactly know.. it was just a lead in to the normal commercial.. he filmed those all in blocks at once..

No ending...
My girlfriend and I have watched several of these short movies of Hitchcock and we really enjoy watching them.
But a lot of those 10 minute videos don't have a real ending, just like this one. Is that really the case, or is there a part
to too this story? Because this way these videos are no real fun to watch, just when you get into them it ends without
any clue or whatever. Still, we appreciate the time and effort you put into uploading these to your channel.

No, these are all just clips, not the full length feature, which I think were nearly half-hour long.

All I can think of in these shorts Alfred is trying to leave you in suspense and figure out the ending. I must admit though his episodes with endings are r so much better. Also it seems like in this one Hitchcock was trying to make southern people look really stupid. I wonder if he had a thought like that about the south, because almost the whole cast seemed dumb as a bag of hammers. Alfred got prejudiced on us. He was great and geniuses are sometimes really strange

Not all of these 10 minute ones end up this bad. The other ones you kind of figure out what happens because it's obvious but not in this one. Plus the making of people from the South look really stupid and ignorant did not seem like the normal Hitchcock. He was a weird cat so I guess is mine went off the edge on this one. All the various short versions from old TV shows are prohibiting full showing or even just more... because of copyright laws. Dumb, eh! Just another law that started out with a good purpose but now is out of control - typical these days!

I clicked on this only because it was in HD. Now I see most of it has been chopped and it stops abruptly with no sign of the rest of the show. What a rip off! I'm going back to FULL episodes in whatever resolution so I'll see it as it was intended. Shame on you for ripping people off.
