Totally agree. I have never seen this one until now, and really enjoyed the twist. Extra bonus in seeing Shaun Cassidy again, as I was totally in love with both him and his brother David when I was little. Great singers and very passable actors. RIP David Cassidy - you are missed.

When the Dean fell and Dale thought ,mistakenly, that he was dead why didn't he just leave? Elderly people die from falls all the time. No body to get rid of problem solved. And even after the Dean regained consciousness he never would have known that he was almost murdered.

He was behind the curtain, so didn't see that the Dean had slipped and fallen. He wanted to get rid of the body because he didn't want there to be an investigation - with him having stolen the poison from the Dean's lab to kill him.

But after some consideration, the student didn't know he dropped the vial and also hiding behind the shower curtain he wouldn't have known the guy slipped on the vial and had not taken the cough syrup. So he was thinking with the autopsy they would find the poison in his system.
