When Conan learns that a private investigator is looking into his past, he thinks it's time for him to move on but Lisa begs him not to go without her. These actors of this age were wickedly good.
Russell Collins as the detective wasn't one of the leads, but he steals the show, especially with his twist punch line at the end.
“Try it. Please.”
The best threat delivery in the history of screenwriting 🏆
🏆🏆
Veronica, How about "Make my day." by Clint Eastwood?
I love these short stories. Hitchcock was a genius at short stories
You are only seeing only half of the episodes here. Alfred Hitchcock was the master of suspense, he made full length feature films and stories that ranged anywhere from half hour to 50 mins...he didn't make 10 min stories the way they show here, this is lazy on the channel creator's part really
Too bad that this gigolo, who used to think himself oversmart, was cunningly used by his lover in murdering her husband. She lied to this person that her husband was snatching her fortune, while it was the other way round. But it ain't over yet. That woman also would have met her match, when she got poisoned by the very man SHE LOVED! Such people who cheat others often get cheated by the ones they trust. This is, ironically, the destiny.
Mr. Hitchcock, was the very best within the time frame. For many generations to enjoy true television. Thank you Mr. Hitchcock.

He was just another Luciferian, choosing to worship the Devil; Lucifer, instead of being obedient to the FATHER. Alfred, if he didn’t repent, will perish in the lake of fire and be dead forever. He wanted his here. That’s what they all want, those Hollywood types and politicians and basically the richest people.
I have loved him since 1961
I like that actor who played the drunk husband. I’ve seen him in other movies…great short!! Thank you
Hitchcock was a genius, he had human nature really dialed in.
I thought these were modern remakes of the older films
josefina bananos thanks for the info! I think the acting is very engaging. *#Cheers* Happy New Year's
He absolutely was Warren the best there was
@@shellyweiers121 if i were to do a modern day theme along the Hitchcock line, i would do a very scary story of todays cannibalism.
Warren West its all in the name💁🏽♀️
Alternate title: "The Con Man Who Was Conned."
There was that look in her eye at 4 20 while he's trying to scam her she's scamming him she's going to get him to kill her husband two scammers that must be what it's like when two narcissists meet
What you are saying is probably very interesting. It's hard to know without punctuation.
These episodes always have the best examples of mid century modern decor
it was not mid century! you must be 19
@@victoriarose-dz9de I’m actually in my 70’s, so I think I know 50’s and 60’s furniture when I see it since I owned it. But thanks for the snarky comment. Oxoxoxox
Hi, Sally, I didn't say that comment to you. And I can't believe they did that. I don't know anything about furniture! and I'm 72, also. please forgive my name?..
@@victoriarose-dz9de that was weird wasn’t it? It came as a reply from you! Sorry about that. Us 70+ gals gotta stick together! Oxoxoxo
@@SallyLanger-rd6ew Hey, Miss-Sandy! thank you for getting back with me so FAST..and F.B. does that too! so I stopped going there! But, your my age, where are you? In CA??
Well isn't that a fine how-dee-do!
When I was young I wasn't very good looking but I had a good sense of humor so I decided to become a cheap, funny gigolo. I made $87.25
"Who gave you the 25 cents?"
"They all did."
That is a great one!
stolen from Norm Macdonald's joke about Andy, made in the Conan show
@@temporatus6172 This great joke first appeared on the 'chitlin circuit' in the 1930's (black vaudeville) I am very up to date on old jokes.
@@poetcomic1 then Norm stole it
@@temporatus6172 Lets just stay he 'revived' it.
We know now where James Bond got his saying from - ' My name is Moss, Alvin Moss ' 😂
That set looks like something out of the original Star Trek series.
These teasers may be short but I love watching them! It makes me want to watch the whole episode......then it’s over.
Absolutely correct.
I think Hitchcock is now public domain which came about recently. I am seeing complete episodes on other channels.
Where you find the whole episode?
@@ashokbhave2969
I wonder, too.
@@ashokbhave2969 I think someone mentioned Public Domain T.V.
I have A.D.D & these short stories are perfect length & some of the twists are really good!!
Young Gigglo reminds me of my younger days. Soon as I dropped my pants the girls would giggle
@James Simpson geez grow a sense of humour! That was funny!
That's funny!!😂🤣😂🤣
If might have worked if the actual pronunciation wasn't Shiggolo
Reminds me of some of the daft old bats in England where I'm from. They go to places like Turkey or Egypt and the young waiters there tell them they are gorgeous. They fall for it spend most of their life savings on them and sometimes even marry them. Once they bring them over to England , which was their real motive. They the young grooms usually dump them.
@shinkicker 123 Reminds me more of the daft old bastards who fall for this con a helluva lot more often then older women do.
@@shirleypena4133 Maybe ? Look at Bernie Ecclestone. A Father again at 90 odd. Creepy looking guy.
Love rats!
One born every minute as the saying goes. But these days its one every nano second😂
What a twist! Two diabolical people!
Always do your research before you kill someone…😂😂😂
love these clips ! straight to the best scenes, little time wasted... 😝
People are never what they seem. She got the last laugh. Poor fool.
Did it bother anyone else that he left water on?
maybe if you are dead it could be a bit hard?/
Yup! And I was sure his watch would fall out of his pocket.
Right now in OZ ...yes :-)
Yes
omg it was freaking me out !!!
"Young" gigolo? Ha ha....40 if he's a day
Stupid move at the end. Phone records will show he made 2 calls, and only the second one to the cops.
Back in those days there was always a moral to the story. Now, it's just a laugh track.🙄
Tyrone Walker, they had laugh tracks back then. They were more common then than they are now. All those comedies that were not filmed in front of live audiences had laugh tracks.
@@mildredpierce4506 Mildred you don't get it do you?
there's a moral to the story of 'The Good Place', and no laugh track.
They still have morals too the story today, you're just not paying attention apparently
I totally forgot this is on Hulu, I think I’m going to binge watch. Thanks for the upload. 😀
I wana watch, these are the best ever.
They took it off Hulu the fuckers!
how do you drown somebody and not get a drop of water on yourself ???
That only happens in the movies or on tell-lie-vision. 😜
His sleeves was wet..
Wow he got played
Yes indeed..🤣
Con man doesn't even realise he's being conned. You'd think he'd think to look up the people he was trying to con, find out who has the money......a very arrogant person usually ends up doing very sloppy work....
Very similar plot to the " Baby Blue Expression"
Hitchcock was born before his time Lol
Hes too old and wrinkled to be classified as a "young giggalo"..love these old movies and how they say women are old when they are the same age as the man in the movie and men are young if they are under 55 lol
Of course, who's going to believe him over her in the end? They have the record of him being a habitual liar
Really well said.... This is what you get when you try to love a cheating wife.... 😆 I really pity him..... Ohhh pretty little birdie....
@8:35 Columbo is gonna get him! 😜
Brutal murder scene. That knockout punch came when it was least expected. The killer was cool and methodical, even with the victim begging for his life while being held under water. Poor guy! :(
I like the way they used to smoke everywhere
Those poor tiger sharks. They're no match for human ingenuity.
Short & Sweet !
Thank you I'm loving these shorts!
Interesting twist....I sort of saw it coming. I must see the full episode😇
Enjoyed.
4:56 He plays the most interesting drunk I have ever seen.
Awesome.
Love it all
There's a song by Smokey Robinson. I think it's called "Captured by the Game".
Julie - The Hunter Gets Capture By The Game a 1967 song by the Motown group The Marveletettes one of my favorite songs of that era January 8, 2020
@@sheiladavis6523 . I remember it, too.
I remember the actor playing Conan, in an episode of Twilight Zone.
A lot of the same actors and actresses played in both shows
@@ninjakforlife like Bill Mumy.
The ex-cop is so unpleasant & creepy.
6:29 Makes me think of Hephaestus/Vulcan and Aphrodite/Venus - he knows what she's like and that she cheats on him every chance she gets, but he's still in love with her.
So did Lisa navigate a hit on her husband? I kept waiting for him to stop holding his breath, sad when innocents die...
Spoiler
Con man didn't even bother to look up the people he was conning, didn't check which spouse had the money
Lisa Talbot played by Gia Scala.
Merci, merci ! Will ya ?
damn good!
Well ! Well ! Well ! What a twist !!!
Please post the entire episode
🖤WOW the end it was amazing and a SHOCK🎥🎬🖤
Yess I didnt see that one coming
I guess $40 per day was considered a lot of money back then. Lol.
It is what the dollar would buy then. Until you live it, it might not be so funny, the same as other things in life. Everything does not have to be a joke does it?
$40 in 1950 is equivalent in purchasing power to $425.55 in 2020, a different of $385.55 over 70 years. The inflation rate was 1.26% back then.
The two weeks (14 days) of paid would be the equivalent in purchasing power to $5,957.50 in 2020.
I believe the motel rooms rented for just a couple of bucks a night then.
Obviously
Amazing twist...a hint 👨 that kills her rich husband and she is completely 😇.
That actor was so handsome.
Close the tap !!!!!
The director commandeered the outdoor set , from the cast and crew of ; " Lost In Space " , for an hour , me thinks .
Saw that twist coming a mile away...
He didn't even bother to look up the people he was conning.......so disappointing.......
Try it. Please. Love this line. 😁
The con man got plated by his own game...Was the private detective on it too with his client???
Were the detective and the wife really lovers?
What a cad!
Knew it the moment I saw Lisa act.
Tiger sharks have morals🦈
I haven't seen this since I was a kid.
Cold blooded! (In Dave Chappell’s Rick James voice)
Double crossing wentch😆
Wow
40 bucks a day 40 years you'll be a millionaire
❤❤❤❤❤
checkmate, lol
Nice.
AP2TMH POWER~
Compact Action~😉
The phoney sky and ocean is so funny! Pretty . but funny!
It's why..they can't colorize this one
These series can solve today's. crime
Cool story.
Although, a private eye barging in and pulling a gun could be problematic since he doesn’t have that authority. Made that our work, though.
Where is the cast? I know Lee Phillips, but who are the rest. Lisa looks like Gia Scala.
Yes leaving the water on was stupid
At 8:10 that final struggle will show in autopsy report in 2 ways as NOT accidental. And at 9:24 wrong move to go for a drink on the way out. And 9:46 it's over. Freddie's eyes light up with surprize to hear Detectives' cliant
Funny, look at that obvious fake set outside.
My god ! turn the G.D. water off !!
right 🤣🤣🤣
"Young Gigilo"? More like Aging Gigilo! Lee Philips was a rough looking 36 year old when this film was made.🤣
1:38 1:44 1:45 1:45
Not bad though
He drank cause he was in love with a cheating con artist; that did not love him!
The hunted was captured by the game! The con, got conned to life in the pen and the cheating wife got her rich husband's money! I wish that this was longer so that we could see, when they caught her too! 🙄smh
Hahaha!
Easy to confuse Russell Collins for Robert Keith, they look like twins.
An OK show
Can anyone identify the actor playing 'Ben Conan'? Thanks in advance.. x
Lee Philips www.imdb.com/name/nm0680097/?ref_=tt_cl_t2
I really hoped he was going to find out the woman was the real villain, she was sponging him, AND she wanted him to get rid of the husband so she could be clean.
Great show. This guy reminds me of Ted Bundy. Even looks like him. Acts like him too.
I'd hire that gigolo
I wouldest hire a french eejit tae do mah daily numerous "rails". Good wages in sight.
Heart's gonna give out with all that booze 😳
Or his liver!
A Blue Beard🙄
LOL😳🤣😅😂😄
Thats the lowest when a man pretends to care fr a woman and uses her fr money!😡
Love you sweetcakes
I look at the comments to know the ending.
