About Jacquelyn Umof (aka Action Jacquelyn):
Jacquelyn is an international yoga and fitness trainer, educator, speaker, and founder of her two online training programs - Get Stretchy, a yoga therapy stretching program, and the Stretchy Fit App, a yoga-fitness monthly membership app helping women gain flexibility, strength and confidence at home. She’s a former ballerina, NBA Laker Girl, ballroom dancer and celebrity fitness trainer. However, in her career she found herself suffering from crippling anxiety and panic attacks. This led her down a path to discover a natural solution to her suffering instead of medication. After one of her first yoga experiences, Jacquelyn found that when she became present in her body the anxiety went away. The anxiety couldn’t survive in the present moment. Child, I did this yesterday and I wanted to scream a few times…lol. I’m dealing with a hip flexor injury (front and groin), so I could not do the lunges and I modified a couple other things! Not even sure I should have done it, but I need to work on strengthening my hips and glutes! I thought they were strong with all the lifting I did, but I never really worked those muscles individually and I sit a lot for work! I’m gonna try to do one of your shorter glute videos a few times a week! Right now, 30 minutes of butt work is a bit much, but I liked it! Even my abs are sore today…😂😂😂

I just had a bilateral breast reduction last week. But I have been following your videos to get back into my ballet shape. So far it’s been doing wonders for my age!! I’m 40… and I cannot wait to get back into routine!!

@@ActionJacquelyn thank you!! Will do!! I even have my daughter doing the calf 5 min exercises!!! She’s a black striped brown belt in karate so the stretching and exercises helps her a lot!! I did a lot of your routines too… and it kept my focus, balance, and health intact. I am very amazed to run across your channel. I have been wanting to get back into ballet, it’s been several years for me. The body doesn’t forget things, thanks to muscle memory!!💞 I will keep you posted… I had two minor hip surgeries since 2017 in both hips too, but this doesn’t stop me at all. I have that focus and survivor ability!!💪🏼
