Reminder that SSSniperwolf has not only encouraged children to perform sexual acts for her on Omegle, not only been racist and ableist (using racial slurs, the r-slur, and Down's Syndrome as insults to belittle people frequently in the past), not only had her then-boyfriend play her games FOR her while she pretended to be playing at the same time as tearing down OTHER women in the games for "not being as good as her," but she ALSO ghosted a dying child and accused the child's mother of harassing her and sent hate her way during that child's final days alive.
And apparently there was frame from beastiality porn at some point: "A document was made by independent investigators who screened through 13 additional SSSniperWolf videos uncovering more instances of sexual exploitation of minors, as well as one instance of her reacting to and showing a frame of a pornographic video of a woman having sexual intercourse with her dog."

What people don't understand is that yes, everything she done is bad, but the real problem isn't her, or youtube for that matter, it's unregulated capitalism.
She could've done it even worse and as long as she's making big money for YT then they would do whatever they could to protect her.
But if things were regulated properly YT would rather loose her than to loose even more IF there was a serious govnerment control over what companies do.

As someone who has been watching the jjjacksfilms videos, it has really annoyed me too see a lot of the commentary youtubers ignoring the history of the drama and seemingly not watching jack's videos. Thank you putting the real effort in. 👏

I thought the same thing. They just look at the surface and was like “WELL he was just making videos on her all the time” without seeing how many people and creators felt grateful for what he done. No attention was even brought into this (or at least in this big of level) until someone with a somewhat bigger following/well known in CZcams (like him) spoke up for the ones that were suffering. Just to say or discard it without looking in the videos or streams was so annoying.

i think he did go too far kiiiiind of? i.e. i agree with his criticisms of sniper wolf 100% but i don’t fully support how he handled it, however this is all pure 100% youtube’s fault because if they didn’t encourage or allow content theft like hers then there would be no need for someone like jack + his audience to try and stop it themselves, they shouldn’t have created an environment where this is an issue in the first place
@@springwater6693The thing is, Jack has long been an advocate for proper crediting of content creators. He has gotten a number of other freebooters to start crediting content creators and at least attempt to react. Jack also got a few channels taken down for freebooting who became vile in retaliation to Jack calling them out.
If CZcams wasn't bending over backwards and breaking their own rules and ToS to cover Sssniperwolf's rear, then this would have ended more than six months ago with her either being forced to comply with fair use and the other terms of service, or else get banned.
The only reason things have gone on for so long is that she's CZcams's golden goose.

The worst part of this is that the uproar is dying already, the punishment she received was not enough yet it seems it will be the only one she will receive, just a slap on the wrist and it looks like people are already moving on, I don't know if its because people (rightfully) believe it's a lost cause that it ain't worth keep complaining or their need to cancel someone got satisfied for now.
CZcams should not be ashamed, they should be terrified. They are setting a precedent, were one youtuber can endanger another, that is going to get someone hurt or even killed. And when that happens it will be CZcams's fault.
Your comment becomes even more prescient with the added context of the shooting at CZcams's San Bruno headquarters in 2018. A content creator actually showed up to YT's corporate headquarters and wounded 3 people, ultimately killing herself.
You'd think that after that, they'd be hyper-aware of the danger posed by doxxing.
More the reason they have to try to keep the peace and not have one channel go after another?
& I agree there is a grey area when it comes to what counts as “transformative commentary”. But there have been several instances where SSSniperwolf straight up doesn’t react. Like they fully forget to even put in her camera & audio for sections of the tiktok compilation videos lol
or like as you mentioned, parts where she just silently “reacts”

@@Broken_robot1986 Which is one of the reasons it's so absurd that people who defend her try to use the argument that Jack deserved it for "bullying" her: His "bullying" (because in the minds of the tweens and simps who watch her, criticism of someone's content = bullying) is something that she could easily ignore with no impact on her life whatsoever by just not watching anything he puts out. Even ignoring that doxxing is an outright crime, being doxxed isn't something you can completely disregard by just changing the channel and going about your day. It's a permanent factor in your life unless you move to an entirely different residence, and has quite literally gotten people killed in the past by assholes who do things like swatting people.
That anyone can seriously look at these two actions and think "Yeah, those are about equal, he might even be worse" is legitimately baffling to me.

This was the first (and so far only) video I watched about this situation because all others that YT keeps recommending me seem so reactionary and don't cover the whole story from the start. Thank you for making this and taking your time to explain all of it comprehensively. I'm 100% on Jack's side here, being a content creator myself whose work gets regularly stolen and even monetised by random strangers on the internet. He's fighting the good but unfortunately mostly fruitless fight here.
At first, my argument regarding harassing was simply that he was commenting on her content and not her. But I would further Double down by pointing out that she continued the egregious elements of her content without alteration, thereby justifying continued commentary on each instance. You're not harassing a thief if you make 60 videos about them stealing if they steal 60 times and you make a video about each each instance of theft
Can i just say, i really appreciate the time and research you do to make comprehensive videos . Sadly not many other commentary channels are taking thr same route.

Sometimes creators hesitate to cover topics that others have already discussed, but I think it's critical to keep talking about it. The fact that so many people are talking about this shows CZcams and everyone involved just how important this really is. CZcams needs to see that the MAJORITY of people are on Jack's side, not their favorite money maker SSSniperwolf. They also need to see the backlash to their own actions of promoting and defending her.
Knowing how much effort she puts into her videos it might be ChatGPD.

I'm really glad that you went over the details of the content Jack was making over on JJJacksfilms, I feel like so many others that'd covered this have tried to give "the benefit of the doubt" (while still condemning her doxxing at least) that "oh he did make a lot of videos about her, that can seem like harassment" showing that they obviously didn't watch any of them or know about what he was really trying to do. Big businesses, which Channel Red has absolutely become, should absolutely be criticized and called out for poor practices.
Jacksfilms was in the right for what he was doing with JJJacksfilms and the movement he was helping with, we should not let content be relentlessly be stolen and profited off.

Devil's Advocate: Whether or not she steals the content she uses, she can still feel like Jack is stealing her content. That's still a viable feeling. To a point I would call what he did harrassment. He created an entire channel with the purpose of focusing just on her videos. He created or encouraged a game for entertainment involving her videos. I wouldn't call the bingo games critique.
Obviously she needs to credit creators, but also it seems creating an account and spamming videos about her does not seem like the right way to criticize… unfortunately the doxing makes this comment null

I think it's still fair to note what he did as one would hope that people in future would learn from past situations. That however is something that is outside the general scope of the whole story and within the story, I agree a worse wrong does tend to negate a lesser one.

every other video i'd seen on this topic had always just annoyed me because they weren't in the know about what jack even did in his videos, so this video was like a breath of fresh air. thank you for covering this topic so well and taking the time to go over the entire timeline :)

This is a really good video im 56 min in and its kept my interest the whole time the points you chose are great
The fair use issue wouldn't be in her favor. Not only is it not transformative, but other factors would work against her as well, including supplanting/taking over the market for the original content. In fact, of the other factors, the only factor in her favor is that often the content is considered "creative" and not factual or educational. Every other factor works against her.
Additionally, the Legal Eagle point doesn't really count for much. His legal takes are often skewed, and he didn't even seem to mention that CA has a specific law against doxxing. He also didn't mention/know about the Ssstalkerwolf fan posting his own picture outside Jack's house, showing that it is enough. Additionally it doesn't take into account that Ssstalkerwolf and her sister repeatedly told their cultish fans that his address is easily searchable online, leading to a top Google search that gets recommended being his address. And given that Google has analytics regarding popularity of search terms relative to time, it wouldn't be tough to find when that became a top search term and see if it fell after her mention of finding it there.
This was a great breakdown of the whole situation though. Keep up the awesome job, man! 🙂

Honestly, Jjjacksfilms is doing gods work for actually going into her content and spitting out all the things wrong with whatever it is she does. You gotta commend the man for sitting through all that stuff and then making a game out of it.
While some of the critiques before this bingo game was a little bit over the top, he has brought a form of comedy with his viewers that makes this all the more enjoyable. Sucks that it went down the way it did, all because Sssniperwolf couldn’t handle any forms of criticism toward herself.

I've never heard of either of these channels until now. I searched for JJJacksfilm and I got results for Jacksfilm but not JJJ. I had to go to Jacksfilm and look at his other channels and sub that way. CZcams didn't want me to find JJJacksfilm.
I don’t want CZcams to crack down hard yet. You remember the whole crazy fan thing. Imagine CZcams does banned or permanently demonetized. My thought process is jack still lives at his house. I worked at McDonald's in college. We would fill fries super fast. Often times the amount in a large and medium is the same. One scoop, dunked into the container with the special scooper. So, if you get a large and it is the lunch rush, you're over paying for a medium unless your scooper is a rock star.
Things like this, reminds me how CZcamsrs are kids that like to play, and every now and then, they want their parents to stop the other kids on the playground from bullying. Only to find out that CZcams is a company, that makes money the more drama there is.
Well since her husband and her are divorcing so he can't fake her gameplay anymore because she doesn't play any of the games she used to lie and say she was, was not very good. But when her husband started playing the games and they uploaded it as it was her game play all sudden she was pretty good.
You Tube gives oxygen to such reprehensible people and ignores it’s own rules . Very poor form and I hope advertisers are all over this when they consider where to advertise.

I've been fed random SssniperWolf videos by CZcams, but have never looked for them. I just went over to her channel to see what fan reactions I could find in her comments, but none of the videos seem to have any. Has she always had comments turned off ?

If the satire and critique was not on main then while it is obsessive, its also part of art conversation since the dawn of time. Her responses? Srsly not ok.
