Is no one gonna talk about how equally if not more amazing Zsuzi is? She loved that man her whole life and is just as heartbroken over his loss even decades later. She speaks of him in her golden age as if it were just yesterday
She was beautiful ,They were a golden couple.I think the reason people talk about him and how gorgeous and handsome he was and haven't mentioned her and her beauty is because when someone is lostpeople tend to put them on a pedestal I know this personally when you lose somebody tragically unexpectedly and with unresolved things you tend to idolize that person true her feelings for William I think we all see William the way she sees William. I say the way she still sees William for one reasonyou always see him the way that she remembers him when they were young and she will always be that beautiful man and the love of her life also because I read that she passed over recently and I believe they're together over on the other side.

I had never heard this story before but had always wondered whom Prince William was named after. I have tears in my eyes and feel such sorrow for both of them. What a poignantly told story.

My heavy heart goes out to the late lovers, Zsuzsi and Prince William, for their bittersweet but gloriously beautiful love story. Though their enchanting relationship was so brief it was totally genuine in every aspect! I believe that this remarkable couple would've been of great benefit to the British Royals. I do hope that a movie or TV series will be developed eventually.
Just another historical example of how short-sighted and cruel the royal firm is and has been for centuries, especially in recent history.

Zsuzsi was an accomplished teacher as well, she took an immersion Japanese language course for 5 months and then began teaching conversational English while in Japan. She earned a pilot license got her commercial glider pilot rating and had her own advanced glider flying school for many years. She was a beautiful, smart, kind and accomplished person who loved her man enough to respect his obligations as he saw them, I am so glad I saw this.
She was sure enough of herself to walk away and let him live out his responsibilities because she knew his heart was truly hers against all odds.

The Queen gave him the best advice to "follow his heart" he should have acted upon it immediately and married Zsuzsi.
Well, the Queen may have said that and felt that, but she did not fight against the harsh system she was steward of to allow William to 'follow his heart.' Pressure was placed on him by others to give up Zsuzsi, in favor of 'duty to the crown.' I guess they preferred him unhappy or dead. Notice that QE-II also loved her grandson, Harry, and gave permission for him to marry Meghan, a divorced woman of color, in a different era. Still, there were forces aligned against Harry & Meghan, which the Queen once again could not see her way to block or stop. Of course, in her 90s, she had relinquished a lot of control to Charles and to busybody courtiers.

The Prince William everyone knows used to be good looking but he went bald. I know that sounds shallow of me to say but compare it to how men critique our every detail. I went out with I man who actually had to check that my nails were properly manicured before we went on our date. I told him to have a good night and went back inside.

the younger children of monarchs usually don't get covered as much. The Crown even had very little about Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, which surprised me since they were quite high profile.
They would've written about it, if it hadn't been affair that had run its course. They had an affair and he ended it. He didn't end it because of royal duty. He ended it and quickly moved on to another divorcee with children. Don't believe everything you see or here.
Great Question about "The Crown," especially since younger William was named after the older William. And now I know why. Leaving this story out was very much a faux pas for the series, in my opinion. Honestly, I don't see why the documentary kept mentioning her being "much older" when in most every photo she looked younger. She is truly beautiful; old or young, she's lovely.

Ironically the one marriage that should have been stopped was Harry's. The expression on Zsuzsi’s face when she watched William’s plane crash is heart wrenching. They were truly in love. It was clear in the way they looked at one another that their love was real and timeless. It’s like a tragic romance novel only far more heartbreaking because it’s a true story of star crossed lovers.

I love how she looks and how her voice sounds when she talks about him. It's genuine and you can tell that she truly loves him. I think their love was real and how sad that it was never to be. She still carrying a flame in heart for him even all these years later.
Glad i saw this. He got the ok from the queen, but his heart was torn between duty and love. This duty was part of his upbringing since birth. Love and freedom was new to him. What a gracious women to forgo the pain to share with us!
