I served the U.S. military. Military service sucked the soul out of me, made my life nothing but work, no girls, no drinking, no friends, and always duty, duty, duty. It sucked the life out of me, chewed me up, and spit me out, starting at 5:30 AM on Monday morning until the next Monday at 5:30 AM, then I do eight hour duty each day for the odd weeks. The winning spirit, isn't made of money, it is made of dedication to victory, success, service, duty, honor, and country.

It's hard, but it also needs luck. Most of the time But then again every job need some kind of "grind". To be able get you employed, you need formal education, which means you need you HS degree with decent score at worst, you grind for your level of education. The thing is, with the same amount of "grind", real job give you less than stream. Stream has low requirement to do but with high ceiling, while real job need higher floor with lower ceiling. The thing with asmon take is, he thought while stream needs grind, real life job didn't do that. Imagine real job after you hired, you still need to grind your way to promotion, either work harder, licking your supervisor's boots, pretend you're fine with douche co-workers, have to be "friendly" to keep the harmony until promotion next 2-5 years later

I worked on a customer service team years ago and my job was essentially getting older people to program their TVs to pick up the signals from satellite and microwave TV. This could include going through wiring from scratch and sorting out the TVs when they didn't even have a manual for it. This was in the days before audio and video inputs were a big thing. If only I could have been helping people with the difficult job of resetting a password.

And those 19 viewers put me in the top 1% of twitch at that time. Most people on twitch stream to nobody.
If you have 400 regular viewers on twitch, you are killing the game.
One of my boys started blowing up big, averaged 200+ viewers a stream at 4x a week, was well on the road to partnership and just fell off the face of the map for like 6 months, said he got burned tf out

As an introvert I will defend the idea of "social battery". In few previous jobs of mine I used to lock myself in an empty room during break because I had enough of social interactions. That said I doubt that Hasan has any idea how being drained from socialising really feels like.
