I live in South Korea. That model is literally what everyday Korean women look like. I don't even consider her "hot," that's just a normal Korean woman. Most Korean women aren't even "exceptionally beautiful;" they just don't look like 300+ pound slobs with green hair and metal on their face. And to add to this, there ARE some exceptionally beautiful women in Korea because skin care is a huge deal here (arguably more so than in places like Los Angeles) and cosmetic surgery is a lot more common here as well. But even then, that's like less than 5% of Korean women. MOST of them look like this model of they're between the ages of 20 to 35. That's not even counting all the rich women in Seoul.

Correction: Shift Up makes Stellar Blade, there is no way in million years soyny would ever make such a beautiful female character like this. Aside from what you hear people say Sony didn't help with nothing and the devs didn't have these dreams of releasing the game only on PS5, these was going to be multyplat, Sony saw the interés in it and pay for exclusivity, shift up was a sell out and the only reason they let them keep the the costumes and cute girl was because it was one of shift up demands. I'm gonna be looking at this character for hours, of course I want them to look visually pleasant. Unless I want them to be intentionally goofy looking fun, but even that wears out. Damn it, even gamers focused on winning will sometimes choose a better looking equipment over better stats.
The eating junk thing and poor health choices is so true, people often mistake me and my sister for being in our mid 20's, we're both in our early to mid 30's. We don't eat much junk, don't smoke, only social drink on rare occasions when we meet with up friends at parties and other social gatherings, and in my case, I actually go to gym twice a week.
Yeah, make better health choices, for most people, it'll knock 5 or 10 years off your physical age.

The existence of any game that has something they don't like is unacceptable, which is wild because they're not even customers. The reason why they hate on stuff like Stellar Blade, but then call OF "empowerment" and complain about putting closed back on them with AI is because there's one thing women hate more than anything: being held to any standards (accountability is one such standard they hate). This is why they hate anything that appeals to male sexuality and why they call it "unrealistic" because if it *_were_* realistic, that would mean it's an attainable standard, and if it's attainable, then they would have to admit they've failed to attain it. Hence they hate it. However, they can't hate OF just because it appeals to male sexuality because that would mean holding those women to standards, as well. Hence, they call it female empowerment and complain if anyone criticizes OF women or claim it's not "real work." It's the exact same reason women get mad when you ask what they bring to the table; you're not supposed to have any standards for women, as a man.

What I take from these interviews is that all these NYers should have issues with western game devs then, since they're taking female models and actually scan their faces, only to change them and make them ugly. Yet, you don't see the outcry about that from them.
Also, it's hilarious how they're complaining about sexualising characters and then when the guy holds up the picture of the model, they're like "OMG SMASH"... way to objectify real people, which I thought is supposed to be a bad thing.

Apparently the latest moan is the previous generation looks younger than the current one. With alot of people on tik tok saying 30+ year olds look younger than 20+ year olds. So it doesn't surprise me a 32 year old, especially Asian woman who are well known for keeping the sun off their skin which is apparently responsible for 75% of all aging (don't know if it's true but then as a rule the skin of an oldie's bare bum is pretty darn smooth) looks younger than those two girls.
