Ok I admit, I have a hard time seeing sarcasm and I don't really care for jokes. But I have an excuse. I grew up bullied and abused, developed ptsd, anxiety and depression, ontop of avoidance personality disorder. I take everything seriously. I can't help it. Sometimes even an obvious joke I instantly take seriously and have to remember that it could be a joke. It's not my fault I have a hard time with jokes. Heck I don't even really like comedy's (definitely not any of garbage on tv or romcom movies). So, do please remember, not all of us women "can't take a joke". It's how our mind's are wired.

What Will did is assault, abuse is typically like a predator/prey thing where the abusing party does abuse to control or manipulate a particular individual. Chris triggered that broken part of Will and while he may have assaulted another man it wasn’t out of malice which is what abuse is. Malicious acts.
He did so to prove to his abuser that he is worthy of her love adoration after she publicly bragged about banging a 24 for several years and tried to play off an affair as an entanglement
As someone who was abused, thrown into furniture and locked in closets as punishment by my own parent not to mention the years of schooling I went through in psychology and sociology makes me very educated on the subject
