Its not about Chris Rock anymore, its about what made Will react the way he did and break his character. A physical slap can heal, Chris did not even need to recover, infact just hours after he did not even want to push charges or put any more burden on Will. I mean, cmon, its about how emotionally jarred and crawled up inside Will's ego is after 23 years spent in marriage with Jada, slowly corroding his mental image and sense of self from the inside. Its sad and depressing for Will and his low emotional or mental state, not about Chris receiving a slap on the cheek, that stuff is child's play.

Yet none of them will look at the thing that has been a much more obvious factor in his life with his wife humiliating him privately and publicly over and over for the duration of their marriage culminating on the whole cheating with their son's friend and then talking about it without shame on the whole red table talk in public then the ruthless mocking the internet of course gave him afterwards since he didn't actually stand up to her even after that. Ironically, only being able to interpret a black person assaulting another person through the lens of the fact they're black IS systematic racism. This doesn't mean there isn't racial violence of course, but for 99.9% of things sound logic comes from asking "what would make a human being act that way?" rather than "what would make a black person act that way?". Of course, the question "what would make a human being act that way?" might take you into matters of their race, but if you ask that question it does so far more infrequently than the racist believes.
Everything that is driving Will Smith is to do with the decision to stay in a toxic relationship, and to let fear cause you to kid yourself that "infidelity" is actually "open marriage". This is such a generally human error in relationship creation that it's a shame when the racist social-justice warriors cannot see it simply because the person involved is black.

The reason people don’t want to talk about narcissistic abuse or how women abuse men is because it’s easier to see a man as abusive than a woman. She doesn’t have to beat him or slap him for it to be abuse
What you see before you is a broken man lashing out in desperation because he has been publicly humiliated and ridiculed for the past several years because of his wife
You either have a very limited veiwpoint and understanding of the situation or want to try and make this a “toxic man issue” which just comes off a sexist

He did so to prove to his abuser that he is worthy of her love adoration after she publicly bragged about banging a 24 for several years and tried to play off an affair as an entanglement

Used to be that you wouldn't utter those kinda words unless you genuinely meant it. Nowdays people get "traumatized" when there isnt enough baja blast at the dollar store to give them the diabetes the so desperately crave. When what they really meant to say was "Inconvenienced"
