Nice video and great info - the woman said she is 5'1" - I'm 5'4" so good to know she feels comfortable on the small frame.
I doubt a long time but now I am sure, this will be my next bike!

Hello, and thanks for a very nice review. I agree this is the flagship model currently for R & M, and a beautiful piece of engineering & design. I'm considering a Super Delite but I have one question. With the integrated batteries, is there a problem with heat build up in the confined space for the batteries? As you know heat kills the longevity of batteries which might hurt reliability. Very interested in your thoughts on this question and how R & M might have engineered this potential issue.

We haven't seen an adverse effects of heat as long as you don't leave the batteries in direct sunlight all of the time. Bosch is very good on battery management - it will even warn the dealer if there has been a thermal issue. I really wouldn't worry about it honestly.
German Engineering at it's best. Like a UNIMOG of the bikes.

I am having a hard time deciding between the Stromer ST5 and the Riese & Muller Superdelite. They are pretty close in price and both offer things I like and don't like.
Thank you for another informative review on such a desirable ebike. Please though could the annoying background music be turned off or down. It’s as intrusive as someone else’s child constantly butting into the conversation.

I purchase a Superdelite Riese and Muller 2022 Rohloff and rack. Getting on if the rear bag is to high it is hard to get on. What type of rear Mik bag and pannier do you recommend, the pannier I prefer a compact design,
Ortlieb is what we use. We also offer Basil MIK rack bags that work great

Good question... if you have the budget you will not go wrong with a Riese & Müller or Stromer in our opinion. It is a big investment, but will bring so much joy for a very long time. We don't have experience with Trek, but they do make nice bikes as well, though we are partial to the brands we carry of course!

Yes, that is possible. You can even buy a fitting cover so it will look perfect and the inside is safe and dry.
What is the best ebike for combination on the road and trail, local commuting, but also going on major journeys... like I'd like to go from Alaska down west coast Canada and US, then down the coast of the Baja Penninsula in Mexico. Is the "Super Delight" designed for heavy loads and major journeys? If the virus is dealt with well enough I might go all over the world taking several years. With batteries good for 500 charges, then how much does it cost to replace them? Is it easy to change a flat tire, or other common repairs i.e. broken spokes, new brake pads, different seat etc. Do you have to have a motorcycle or bike license? I see a license plate on one in a demo in Germany. How much is insurance coverage for theft and accident worldwide?
You can allways buy two extra batteries and charge all four as and when your at a charge point

What is the maximum rider height that this bike would fit? I'm 4" taller than Brett and in the video, it almost looks like the bike is small for him. Is there another R&M model that would fit a really tall rider?
Hello Mark. The bike I'm reading is the medium size. You would definitely want the large. This size will fit for sure but the reach will be a bit on the shorter end if you have longer arms and torso. The nice thing is that it will be very comfortable and upright!

@@raylegend808 Depends on what components you'll take, I guess. For example taking Enviolo might be a matter of time until something bad comes up since it doesn't have a very good longevity if you look at the huge price of this bike. Got my Superdelite Saturday and ordered it with a Rohloff gear hub just because of that.
For these E bikes, why include peddles?
Bosch system doesn't have a throttle so without peddles you won't be going anywhere
