Fatlock's only argument is a tattoo lmao
Abbas Shah a tattoo when he was 18😂😂
I wonder how Whitlock would react if Lebron had a donut tattoo on his back
true
I don't hate Draymond for trash talking, I hate him cause he got away of being suspended kicking guys in the nuts, and illegal screens
oh yeah and his only other argument was his nicknames how could i forget
6-0 in the Finals is worst argument ever. So is it better to lose in the first or second round of the playoffs than lose in the Finals? That is crazy. People who say that think that LeBron going to the Finals in for example 2007 was worse achievment than Michael Jordan's lose to the Pistons before the Finals. Where is the logic? It is MUCH BETTER to have record 6-4 in the Finals than 6-0 because it means that you were capable to go to the Finals 4 more times.
Kosmiczne Opowieści at the end of the day MJ lost less than Lebrón losing in a finals or a first round is still losing
Perfect finals record vs a current 3-4. No comparison. Getting there is good, but winning it and never losing is the objective. Jerry West has been to the finals 9x won it once. Hakeem Olajuwon and Isiah Thomas have been there 3x and won it twice. With your logic Jerry West's record is better than theirs. Winning the title more times than losing it is always better.
Darin Atkins - Jerry West won once, but Olajuwon and Thomas twice so there isn't fair comparision. Try this one - both Kobe and Magic have 5 rings. Kobe was 5-2 in the Finals and Magic was 5-4 in the Finals. Which record is better? Was it better that Magic goes to 2 more Finals or was it better that Kobe lost in earlier rounds? Obviously Magic's record is better.
Kosmiczne Opowieści looking at the numbers maybe but there's a story behind every digit, level of competition, path to the finals, the help around you, injuries. This isn't a league where you get participation trophies. Regardless Besides Kobe, all those you listed aren't ever going to be in the GOAT conversation. If you're involved in the GOAT conversation yes going 3-4 is going to hurt you when you're compared to 6-0. Someone who has never lost or someone who has lost more then he won? It's well known that MJ played in a better era, against a tougher conference too. Lebron has lost to the Mavericks, not just lost but swept, that matters. It's a knock against him, he changed teams and formed a super team with all star players and still only won 2, then goes back to Cleveland because Dwade and bosh are getting worse, and joins an emerging Kyrie and gets Love as well as a great bench and good talent all around and loses the first one and wins the 2nd. All these matter. If you look at the numbers and don't read into it sure. But that's not how it works. We are talking about the greatest of all time. We don't skip over things, and 6-0 beats 5-2 and both of those best 3-4
Kosmiczne Opowieści - EXACTLY! 👏👏👏👏
LMAO LeBron got the Chosen One tattoo because of his Sports Illustrated cover. And he didn't call himself King James, the media did.
Fatlock isn't a fan of logic.
John T. Washington but he adopted it.
ayoiawe They called MJ "His Airness" and he adopted it. I don't see your point. It's a nickname.
John T. Washington it describes what type of player he is
John T. Washington actually the name lebron comes from an african languauge and literarely means king
"Kobe never left LA."
"Looks at the tattoos!"
Arguments used in this video against LeBron. Good lord.
Ronald Familia I remember when Kobe threatened to leave the Lakers. #Loyal
TheNamesDitto he threatened them cause he couldnt get out in the first round because of Steve Nash and the Suns lol. If Pau Gasol didnt join LA lol kobe wouldnt get 2 more rings and wouldnt win a single MVP. I remember when Gasol carry lakers against Boston cause Kobe was shooting Bricks.
@@pauloaustria7798 facts kobe trash
Lmao yall are all bronsexuals!!! THE FACT IS even if he wanted to for a little while he didnt!!!! He stayed and won 2 titles WITHOUT SHAQ and Pau Gasol as his 2nd best player... Lebron has lost 6 times in the finals and he CHOSE TO LEAVE and form the best superteam in the league because he couldn't beat dwight howard and the celtics 😂😂😂
@@TheNamesDitto yessir he was about to be traded to the bulls before gasol got there
Isn't the whole point of your profession is to strive to be the best I don't see what the problem with LeBron wanting to be the best.
The Media protects MJ. think about it...what is the one player that gotten the most hate in the past 14 years in the NBA....than ask yourself who is the one player that pretty much as good or better than MJ.
than you know why
no,
catching to Ghost of MJ is HIS goal...but the goals that We set for him? the media goals? the goals that was place upon him since day one? yes he done it all
Can he win?
can he be great?
will he win more rings?
will he bring one for the land?
will he be an all time great?
those Question he answer and went above that was ask of him. there is nothing he needs to prove no one that he is one of the top greats of all time.
also
Lebron is better than MJ...defends, rebound, pass, shoots, and a better leader.
MJ is only a better free throw and Scores more of the ball (while shooting more and being less efficient than lebron)
another classic case of MJ fanboy.
Sorry i review players base on their REAL action not the stories that are created by the media leaving out important details. you know like MJ never beating any greats, the 90s were very weak, Magic played in a very weak West with a stack team, kobe Choking 3 airballs and so on...you know the same thing that people will do with lebron when they talk about him in 10 years when they "Forget" important details.
oh by your broken logic...if Lebron is not close to MJ why is he the only one that being compare to him?
...old out of prime former shell of themselves are not great team.
Gray Fullbuster lmao kobe isn't even top 10 of all time
LycanVonWolf where did LeBron said he's done ? I remember him saying he has nothing left to prove to the NBA.
whitlock has "buffalo wings" tattooed across his back.
KoKoola 1 point 2 u sir
KoKoola W as f
What does buffalo wings have to do with a valid opinion see the problem is with us we do not know how to have a debate without making it personal you spend so much time talking about whitlock's weight yet you ignore what he says or you talk about his weight because you have no type of come back
lebron didnt even give himself those nicknames, and he got the tattoos at 18 I hate how they expect lebron to be a perfect human
HE DOESN'T SHY AWAY FROM THOSE NAMES THO
Bernard Hepburn why would he?
Also it's not lebrons fault that espn had his high school games televised either. People been on his jock strap since he was a kid. Talk about how the media builds athletes up and attempts to tear them down. Shitlock is a big ol clown
ANKLETAKER. yes I was talking about that In my garage bro. He(Bron) gets the height/weight/whole cap of hate if he didnt do something right.
follothru1. Amen to that statement brother 👌😏🏀😎👀
Broussard is the most unbiased analyst ive heard, gotta love that man
When we talking about basketball and you start your argument with tattoos you already lost
The argument is ridiculous to me In terms of "passing" MJ. When talking about the Greatest Player of All Time, it should be based more upon the skill one brings to the floor rather than the amount of championships his team won. The 6-6 argument doesn't necessarily equal a better individual talent, but when mentioning how good MJ was on the court and the skills that he brought to the table compared to LeBron then we can have a real argument. This "passing" MJ thing is more about rings rather than who is better.
Our definition of "Greatness" has always been defined by legacy and accomplishments. Fair or not, that's the reality. If it was defined by skills and pure ability/performance as a player, Bill Russell should be nowhere near the top 5 all time. Hakeem, Shaq, Wilt, Kareem were all more skilled/had better numbers. But those 11 rings and 5 MVPs...the legacy is what keeps him near the top of the list.
Sad Jets Fan I agree. Even though I hear more people in favor of Kareem and sometimes wilt over Russell, but for me I have that playground mentality. We all have played basketball. We know game when we see it. I think that this argument between these two guys that have amazing career accolades should simply be judged more on skills. Ultimately, the argument is being turned into who was more successful rather than better.
Young G If we were to define greatness by skill-set, LeBron became the GOAT 10 years ago.
Remarkable SeiF and for those that know basketball, he already did
I feel like if people really want to know who's truly better, they're going to have to dig way deeper than just rings. Championships are a team effort, and isn't always accurate in determining an individual player's greatness. We have to look at the player's value, skill, play-making abilities, clutchness, overall contribution to the team, etc. so many other factors
Nah, Kobe had a bunch of comparison with MJ. The difference is that we now have Twitter, FB, and CZcams to expose more of this conversation than in Kobe's Era
Foreal we was having this same conversation with Kobe in 2010 but he didn't win another ring so they went away
Kobe was being compared in terms of style of play, never in terms of greatness or legacy. There was never a moment in his career where anybody even thought of the idea that Kobe was close to MJ, let alone surpass. Doesn't matter what stat, what metric, what achievement, what accolade you try to bring up against Jordan, MJ wins every debate.
Jay Jay you must have just started watching basketball mark Jackson said Jordan might end up being better than Jordan in 06 Barkley said not even Jordan could do what kobe was doing in the 2010 playoffs they was comparing greatness not styles
Troy Hung??? 😂😂 Era? Kobe was in the Finals SEVEN YEARS AGO. Gtfoh lol
Glo'ed Up Are those the only two people you could find? Of course some people said it, just like how Skip Bayless is now saying that Kawhi is better than LeBron lmao. Barkley, the one you just mentioned, said in 2012 that LBJ can be better than Jordan, in 2012 fam. That shows you how quickly he jumps the gun. But I'm talking bigger picture. Where it's a common believe amongst the majority of people that LBJ is close to MJ or is the only one who has a chance to surpass him. That never was the case with Kobe.
I feel like people are misconstruing what LeBron said about proving himself, last year LeBron solidified himself as one of the greats, anything after this when it pertains to chasing the ghost of Jordon is his personal goal for himself, there is a difference between having to prove yourself and striving for greatness 😉
Dominique Dupree hey gorgeous
Dominique Dupree dude still chasing Tony Manu and Shaq they have 4 he can never match mj how many hof are ringless from mj now how many future hof was lb stopped oh and the loss to Dallas will never go away the man never let it get to a game 7
It's crazy how all the debate criteria concerning the GOAT discussion gets twisted in favor of MJ.
MJ didn't have to get more titles than Kareem, didnt have to match his number of Finals appearances, didn't have to get more MVPs, and didn't have to break his scoring record to pass him.
MJ didn't have to match Magic's 9 Finals appearances in 12 seasons, and win 5 titles while playing all 5 positions. MJ also gets a pass for losing to Bird's Celtics and the Bad Boy Pistons in the playoffs. But Magic doesn't get a pass for losing to those teams in the Finals. Magic's 5-4 Finals record against the all-time great BOS/DET/PHI teams is more impressive than MJ's 6-0 Finals record against the competition he faced.
MJ also didn't have to match Bill Russell's 8 straight titles, or his 11 titles in 12 seasons, to pass him as GOAT.
MJ wasn't held to any of those standards. But Lebron has to match or surpass MJ's 6 titles in order to pass him as the GOAT?!? Makes no sense.
Cornell Cannon I agree, for me Magic is the greatest player of all time simply because his value no matter what.
Jordan was not a valuable player without other star players and a good coach, but Magic was.
If LeBron wins this year, for me easily the GOAT. Far higher degree of difficulty in the finals and value than any other player.
Good point. I wish more people would see your post Cornell.
Cornell Cannon THANK YOU. MJ is NOT the GOAT
Great points all around!!! I am getting tired of hearing these clowns direspect all the other greats to worship at the alter of MJ. It's getting just looking stupid at this point.
perfectly said!!!!!!1
LeBron is the best I've ever seen.
Raheem Gaines u havent seen to many
ItsTruth Who is the best you've seen?
I guess you've never seen Jordan or Kobe play then.
FTB 933 kobe and jordan is a better scorer.. But lebron is the better player
***** Lmao no hes not. Kobe and Jordan are better lockdown defenders. Lebron is just a better passer than both of them.
MJ is way more cocky than lebron lmao 😂 the tattoo argument is dumb af
This man straight said......Lebron was a better shooter and ball handler than Michael.....😂😂😂😂😂
Jordan had mediocre ball handles bruh please watch tapes then come back smh
Whitlock, Skip need to go against Colin,LeShannon
Someone has confidence in themself by saying they are the "king" and "chosen one", then go out and become the 1st or 2nd best in their respective field in the history of mankind...and we wanna crucify them for that? Instead of bashing him people like witlock need to praise him for backing it up over the course of 15 years.
zer999aa99 it's amazing how he came the first pick out of high school
zer999aa99 5L's he match magic n Kobe chips
Ok if Lebron wins this year his the goat (not for me) but if he loses he'll be 3-5 and maybe he loses next year 3-6. Nobody's talking about that
Artur Vasiljev Because him losing against this team is nothing to be ashamed of. It's basically the equivalent of 2007 and 2015 where his team does not compare to the warriors. But if he wins, it's like "oh my god, he beat THEM?" That's why he'll be the goat to many people if he were to win
Artur Vasiljev Honestly, who'd be surprised if GS wins it...
The funny thing about LeBron is that we keep asking for more out of him. It doesn't matter if you're a hater or a Bronsexual, you simply want him to do more and more which only makes him get better and better every year.
Why is Whitlock still on the show
Unfortunately it's his show. :(
Cuz that's his job DUMB DUMB....WTF!?!? I can do this all day....
I hate when people say Kobe never left LA, to those that don't know, when Kobe got swept in the first round without Shaq, he basically threaten the Lakers organization about him leaving them, and the Lakers brought in Pau Gasol and Phil Jackson. If the Lakers didn't do anything, Kobe would've been on his high horse to join a team with an effective center.
Alexander Coleman people forget that part.
Alexander Coleman he never got swept, it was 4-1....
Shaq left LA in the sinmer of 2004 going into the 04-05 season..Kobe played the 05,06,07 3seasons after Shaq left Before Kobe threatened to leave LA in the summer of 2007 going into the 2008 season Pau Gasol didn't come to LA until 2008 mid season..Kobe had a Starting lineup 06,07 seasons that consisted of Kwame Brown at C..Smush Parker at PG..Luke Walton at SF & Lamar Oden at PF..Kobe played with Kwame Brown Smush Parker & Luke Walton in his Starting 5 for 2 years!!! Lebron had better supporting players around him in the 06 07 season compared to Kobe
Thomas Banks why did you bring up LeBron?
Alexander Coleman Cause I can l..Did that answer your question..Huh??? #KidzTheseDayz
anyone catch caron said michael jackson before correcting him self saying michael jordan 😂
Nba all time game winners
Kobe Bryant 40 fgm
Larry bird 33 fgm
Vince carter 31 fgm
Micheal Jordan 29 fgm
Carmelo Anthony 26 fgm
Jerry west 25 fgm
Reggie Miller 22 fgm
Lebron James 21
Kareem Abduhl Jabbar cough cough cough*
Was only the best player on 2 of his rings
Artur Vasiljev 6 MVPS, 6 RINGS, MOST POINTS IN NBA HISTORY
Kareem is the only player in the conversation with Jordan. His resume is sevond to none
Abdul-Jabbar is without a doubt the Greatest Of All Time when you factor in all levels of ball and arguably because he was dominant up to age 39, the Best NBA player ever...
+Glo'ed Up If you really believe that he wasn't the best player in 1980 when Magic won Finals MVP, check the stats and get back to us...
lebron vs kobe no contest lebron is on another level. lebron can go to any team in the league and instantly take them to the playoffs. I don't think kobe or the mj could have that kinda impact.
guarding each other all things equal who wins? Kobe
Emperor Gaucho kobe isn't even than magic dude
Magic said he was better.... MJ said he was the closest....at all star game lebron couldve hit the gamewinner on Kobe instead passed it/turned it over..... but hes shitting in Kyle Lowry tho!
David Nguyen because Jordan or Kobe wouldn't actually leave a team unlike Lebron
This should be Titled Lebron "The only player in the conversation with miichael Jordan , speaks for itself.
I feel like people are sleeping on Kareem.. He's a top 3 all time player too, yet little to no people ever talk about him
Caron putting respek on Kobe name. Notice how when Broussard brought up Kobe vs. LeBron, Caron brought up Kobe resume, nobody even spoke...
Samurai Jack yeah but Kobe was the best player on only 2 of those championship teams
uncle grandpa shaq isn't winning those 3 championships without kobe
Marcus Reed, that's debatable, but kobe wasn't winning 3 rings without Shaq. Shaq was literally unguardable at the time. Shaq could at least get 1 without Kobe.
a lot of players wouldn't have won titles if they didn't have star teammates .. the thing is lebron ain't no sidekick .. one of kobe rings he avg under 20 ppg , that man not better than bron , bron would never get carried like that in his prime
How many rings did shaq when after kobe... oh Yea.. But how many rings did Kobe win after shaq.. OKAY. PERIOD
caron butler my boy!! yeah, Kobe.
from the mins of 1:50- 2:07 it comes up when caron starts talking 😂
The lack of mention of Wilt in this conversation is disturbing. -.-
SMH idk man, but Whitlock speaking pisses me off!
are we talking about who is the better player or who has the better legacy ?? cux if its the better player yiu wont bring up 6-6. BASKETBALL IS A TEAM GAME
people always say Jordan lost in the first round but leave off the fact that he play bird twice and a all time great Celtics team. ask your self this if lebron played bird in the first round every season with those cavs he had early in his career do you think he would of got out the first round?
He isn't even talking sports but his argument is a tattoo....
Kobe....🚶🏽
Most game winners in nba history

WarMarchine 11 Can I hear something about his rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals per game?
WarMarchine 11 ya since you wanna talk about scoring so much, what's kobes career ppg?
Yugo Gugo 3rd all time in scoring is good enough
The only thing you did is remind us how much of a ball hog he was. Thank you.
This is all RS stats. In playoffs, Jordan and Lebron are way superior. Kobe is probably the most unclutch superstar in NBA playoffs history, shooting 30-88 (34%) in the last 5 minutes and 5-22 (22%) in the last 10 seconds to tie or take the lead. Jordan and Lebron are better than him in every statistical category, and most importantly, are way more efficient.
um...Colin why aren't you on your own show and Here? 🤔
Kobe, end of the discussion. How soon they forget
I'd say he doesn't have anything to prove to anyone, but he still can acomplish more. It's like, he can only go up from here.
Duncan > Shaq
I agree with Caron Butler, Kobe and Jordan stayed on their own team, instead of Switching teams with Allstars. What would LeBron have done if he stayed in MIAMI after the lost in 2014 ?
PlayerLocke23 the difference is that the Lakers and bulls were smart enough to recognize the talent they had and surround their stars with legit talent. the cavs did not so that and he told them for years...but they kept expecting him to do it on his own. kobe from day 1 was gifted the most dominate big man in the game for his 1st 8 years and look at the 3 years kobe had after he had shaq traded before gasol got there 05 missed playoffs 06 first round exit 07 first round exit in his prime...he thought he xouls so it alone... i compare these 3 years to what bron had to deal with for his first 7 in cle. then kobe demanded a trade multiple times but the Lakers got gasol and then went to 3 straight finals. so it's not LeBron fault he didn't have the smart franchise or quite frankly the coaching that both Jordan and kobe had in Phil Jackson. bron has always had an inexperienced rookie level head coach. even Spoelstra was only in his 3rd year when bron got there. say for example bron got drafted to the spurs and had pop his whole career...then people be saying the west is so weak spurs make it every year and bron would already have 5-6 rings
bgammill66
Lebron had 3 different eras of teams, If LeBron would've stayed with the heat after losing in 2014 I would agree. Also I would never respect someone like Kevin Durant for going to the warriors after he had a good team in Okc no matter how much he wins, kd should never be mentioned with Michael Jordan.
boo1987 H.P ok let's play this game...shaq through the 2000-01-02 finals averages more points and rebounds then wade and bosh COMBINED through 11-14 finals...that is dominance...theres a reason kobe only has 2 FMVPs. kobe fans act like he was the best player for all 5. LeBron and Jordan have never Not been the best player on their team. and I guarantee if bron had prime shaq on his team for his first 8 YEARS they would've won more than 3 because of LeBrons willingness to share the ball. my guess is 5-6 titles in 8 years since y'all are always into hypotheticals
If we keep bringing up rings, Robert Horry got more than all the players they mentioned in this video
There is nothing that Jordan can do better than Lebron, stop it colin!!
Thanks for repeating the facts
In my opinion these are the top 5 players.
1. Michael Jordan
2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Prime Kobe > Prime Lebron. Shooting, clutch factor, free throws, one on one defense & killer instinct. And it's not even close!
Summers Time Entertainment rebounding, passing, team defense, finishing at the rim, team chemistry factor, chasedown block factor, power dunk factor, Snapchat gym dance factor (like what is killer instinct and clutch factor, I can rattle off BS intangible properties too)
Avinash David LMAOOO
Thank you Caron Butler for speaking facts.
How is Magic, Bird, Chamberlain , Russell, Kareem not even in the discussion??? That’s ridiculous
Kobe never played in the Nba ?
Tireur isolé who is that?
MistahUnknown you weren't born when he was playing, CZcams him
I guess everyone forgot about Kobe
J Breezy #AKA Preston Parker crazy right
J Breezy #AKA Preston Parker right. KOBE
The difference between LeBron and Kobe is larger than the difference between Kobe and someone like Joe Johnson. LeBron is actually that much better than Kobe.
Crow go eat crow
Crow 😂😂😂
Everyone forgets Wilt in the GOAT discussion
10 scoring titles(all-time nba record)
7 straight scoring titles (tied with Wilt for that all-time nba record)
Led the league in steals several years
3rd all time in steals
30.1 ppg career scoring avg. (all time nba record)
33.6 ppg playoff career avg.(all time nba record)
Highest scoring playoff game in nba history 63 pts
The only player in nba history to lead a team to 70 wins while winning a championship the same year.
5 Regular season MVPs
1 Defensive MVP
6 Finals MVP's (all time nba record)
6 nba championships
And many countless memorable moments, shots, and highlights they they will be running long after we all dead and gone!
Once Lebron's resume starts rivaling the one above then there needs to be a serious discussion on who is the goat!
Tho only pro player on here talks Kobe and they dismiss him how about listen to a pro?
Kobe Bryant is not in the conversation, he never was! I do think he's a top 10 player, maybe at 8th to 10th, an incredible legend that is for certain; but being the greatest of all time was never within reach for Kobe. When it comes to rebounding, passing, steals and blocks; he's clearly inferior to both Jordan and obviously LeBron. Defensively, Kobe was a pretty good defender; but still never been on Jordan and LeBron's level. Kobe could score, yes, a lot! But with a low FG percentage. Jordan and LeBron are much more effective scorers, scoring more than Kobe does while taking less shots.
Kobe has 5 rings, yes; but in 3 of them, he was more like what Kyrie is to LeBron today. Shaq lead that team, he was at his peak. If he had Carter or Pierce alongside him instead of Kobe, Lakers would've still had that 3 peat. Kobe then lead the Lakers and when he finally got a good team with Gasol, Bynum, Odom, Ariza and Fisher; he has proven he can lead a team to success as well and top marks for him. Again, I am by no means diminishing what Kobe did and how great he was; he just wasn't at Jordan or LeBron's level.
Gun Murat Ilban I respect this argument and opinion but I disagree about scoring, because I think Kobe is the greatest scorer of all time, he hit difficult shots so often I think we take it for Granted how great it was that he hit those shots, I think you should consider that LEBRON is 6'9 and has an advantage and taking much easier shots and layups, while Kobe shot a lot of contested mid range shots and threes,
Not to mention the records
81 points
4 straight 50 point games
6 60 point games
9 straight 40 point games
13 straight 35 point games
3,000 points in a season(05-06)
62 points in three quarters(outscored the other team)
35 PPG in a season
30 PPG on three different seasons
27 PPG at 34 years old
This man was an amazing scorer who had I think the most tricks in his bags man, I think he's more skilled than any player ever, ( I don't think he's better than Jordan or close to him, or better than Magic, but arguments can be made for others in my opinion,) and I believe he's the greatest scorer of all time
KTPhenomenal DoingMyBest Man, I feel bad for Wilt. Dude averaged 50 and 20 for a SEASON. lol
Only player in modern era to avg 40 pats for a month 4 different times Kobe
PLEASE STOP RANTING & GO GET SOME FACTS - YOU CLOWNS ALL OVER THE WEB WITH SPECUALTION!!!
I have a lot of respect for the Wilt and Russell; but we've got to keep it in mind that they played in a completely different era. If you watch their games, you can see basketball was just a different game back then. NBA gained it's worldwide reputation in the 80's. Until then, it just wasn't very relevant and there weren't great athletes around. Especially in Wilt's era. The reason why he was so dominant, wasn't because he was an incredible player. It was because there weren't any real athletes in the league to stop him in the paint. This is different than Shaq's situation though, Shaq was still that dominant despite there were great athletes around.
Lebron has better handles and shooting than Jordan!? I'm out bruh! That might be the most ridiculous comment I've ever seen in a basktball discussion
If you want to talk about best basketball players, none of these guys would be able to beat Wilt or Kareem or Shaq in a one on one game because it would be impossible for them to guard the best centers. They would back them down to the basket and never miss. There is no "Greatest of All Time", because it's impossible to compare different positions and different eras that had different rules. They're great players and that's all you can say.
Thank you Caron butler for mentioning Kobe. Kobe is the closest thing to MJ and I think Kobe in his prime was better than lebron at his best.
Nick Arndt the only argument is that this is LeBron at his prime his numbers are higher this year and im not sure kobe could dominate the lebron we are seeing in the playoffs
Kobe is the only player close to Michael Jordan lebron ain't even close
WORKSbaby At least give us something
MistahUnknown 2011
kobe stan & idiot spotted ... via same comment
You mean the kobe who couldn't do anything without Shaq until they went and got him a couple of all star centers? The only people who thinks kobe is better than LeBron are kobe fans and lebron haters. Any logical person would never put kobe above lebron.
Except that LeBron and Jordan have better stats pretty much across the board than Kobe. Anyone who thinks Kobe is better than LeBron is an idiot; a wealth of stats prove it, in particular +/- variations.
We can't say for sure Lebron couldn't win MJs rings, and we couldn't say MJ wouldn't win Lebrons (he's more likely to because he played better in the Finals than Lebron). BUT. What we can say for ABSOLUTE SURE is that MJ wins vs Dallas. Probably sweeps them. That's what ended the convo
i thought Chosen One meant he was the Chosen One to bring a chip back to Cleveland, which he did. and The King? well, hes the best player of his era. seems like the King to me. i think he met his standards.
JORDAN>KOBE>LEbron
he not better then Kobe Kobe played 20 seasons In one team and one a championship with 1 super star and a bunch of role players lebron James had to switched team's to play with multiple superstars
"Lebron is the only player who we compare to MJ" Chris Broussard. I guess Westbrrok, Durant, McGrady, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Chris Paul, Tim Duncan, Greg Popovich, Arenas, John Wall, Allen Iverson, Kyrie, Isaiah Thomas, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Caron Butler, Correy Maggette, Paul George, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce etc don't count??? Btw.... all of these ppl I've named have all picked Kobe over Lebron........ ooooops almost forgot..... Jordan HIMSELF picks Kobe over Lebron.
As I understood it "chosen one" was because Cleveland hadn't had a title in so long, he was great and the has the #1 pick in the draft he was in
If LeBron manages to win this year he will be considered the GOAT by the majority of fans. I already consider him the GOAT but Jordan is very very very close. Kobe is a tier below.
Giannis Ioannidis I think lebron has to win next year also, but if he doesn't he still is number 2 greatest all time
Kobe has the very basic argument....rings and scoring...comparing the competition he played, his efficiency, all around game, what he adds to a team, historic victories/comebacks... brings him much further down on the list
Giannis Ioannidis lol that's funny boi go play in traffic
Giannis Ioannidis So Jordan the player who won the most Finals MVPs, 5 MVPs, the most scoring titles, the most All Defensive First Team selections along with KG, Kobe and Payton, a 3 times steals leader, DPOY, the Playoffs All Time scorer after 179 games, the only player to record over 200 steals and over 100 blocked shots for more than 1 season, the player with the highest scoring average in a Finals and the reason multiple HOFers couldn't win a ring when he was dominating is not the GOAT?
You already consider lebron the goat? Case closed, you're a bronsexual
Lebron is just fighting for 2nd all time if he loses this year he will be Disqualified from the Goat discussion. MJ in 13 years has more MVPs finals MVPs Dpoy awards 9 more scoring titles higher scoring average and more playoff points and regular season points then Lebron in 14 years
lol were comparing players not teams.....its not 1v1 playoffs...if he averages 30 10 8 and plays great but loses that disqualifies him ? loooool
Glo'ed Up You tripping.. LeBron losing this year is almost expected considering who he's going up against..To give you my honest opinion if GS wins it who would be shocked...No one. Gs losing would look better than them winning...I would be surprised if the Cavs don't repeat
You going to fault him to losing to the Warriors? The Warriors from last year would absolute dominate any team Jordan Faced.
Glo'ed Up you werent even alive when jordan played. And every year ya'll say "If he loses this one then blah blah"
Glo'ed Up So if LeBron doesn beat possibly the best team ever he's eliminated from goat discussion ? Lol, you put LeBron on the Bulls he has 7+ rings already.
Last time I checked, people give you nicknames, not yourself.
the only former NBA player talking brought up Kobe and his 5 rings during an le3-4 vs Jordan convo.....just making sure yall saw that. of course kareem gets ignored again
LeBron is the best player in the weakest era in basket ball
Chester Pritchett no that would be jordan
he's not better than magic,Kareem, kobe etc
fact > opinions , so lebron > kobe
you have your opinion I have mines
stats wise he is....career wise..he has a ways to go
LeBron's better than Kobe
don't forget 2011 Dirk beasting on son Lebron
Chris Broussard is awesome...I feel like he almost has to babysit these two!
Finally somebody sticks up for Kobe in this
WTH u mean Bron better than Kobe? come on
Ayeni Olusegun Right
Ayeni Olusegun Way better are you serious????
Ayeni Olusegun DUH fool. It's BEEN that way
Joe 7374 Foreal since 0'9 where y'all Been the last 8 years lmao
***** His field goal percentage, rebounding assist scoring per game steals blocks defense what else is LeBron better at?
you're doing something right if you fail and get back up rather than fail and just stay down. that's how you progress to be better and greater.
lol @Caron Butler lmfao
Only Lebron in the convo? No Kareem Abdul Jabbar? No Magic?
think u butler for speaking facts about mamba
Kobe 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 the closes to MJ 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
This is just a replay of about 9 years ago when Kobe won two without Shaq and everyone was asking if he passed mj...when lebron retires and the next great comes up, people will do the same. But no, GOATS don't join other teams with great players, they make their team great. Mike never did that; he made his team great
Oh please....LeChoke can't be in a GOAT conversation. A chocker can't never be at the top of the list. GOAT and chocker ate mutually exclusive period.
Loved the mention of KOBE!!!!!
The Mamba,Superman but Chosen one makes a problem?
I hate Whitlock cause he uses 2nd grade arguments. Lebron is #2 all time.
MJs handles is underrated because there's no waste in his movement and he doesn't turn the ball over like the super stars we see today
Why is it that PLAYERS ALWAYS say Kobe when talking about Jordan but analyst love to just skip over him. Kobe is a GOAT.
Lebron definitely deserves to be in the same sentence with MJ, Magic, Kobe etc. The guy does everything for his team, without him the cavs may not even be in the playoffs. The only difference between Lebron and MJ or Kobe is that he left and joined 2 other superstars to win a ring when he couldnt do it himself whereas the other guys stayed when their team's were trash. 6 straight final appearances is also an unbelievable stat but if you look at the amount of 50+ win teams lebron has had to play in the playoffs (9) and beaten compared to MJ and Kobe (who are both in the 20s) you can see that Lebron has had an easier ride in the playoffs. Personally i think MJ is the GOAT but thats just my opinion.
The greatest players in NBA history are the "one namers" as Colin said. The ones you know just by hearing one word:
Jordan
Magic
Bird
Kareem
Shaq
Kobe
Hakeem
Wilt
Russell
LeBron
3:01. Media called him King James and Sport Illustrated called him the Chosen One when he was 17
If I am not mistaken Wayne Dawson On Fox 8 news actually started calling him King James After Lebrons first Game as a Cavalier. Initially he didn't like it but the fans here in Cleveland started referring to him as such. The Chosen One soon came after. What a lot people possibly don't remember, was that Lebron did not initially want to play for Cleveland. He actually wanted to play for New York. Like most young people in Cleveland at that time, there was an infatuation with New York. I am sure there is an interview with him somewhere where he is wearing a Yankees cap. For a lot of young Clevelanders That was more of a style thing than anything else. I used to manage a mens clothing store called TNT and I can say without a doubt we sold sold more LA,, NY, Duke and Bulls gear that anything with Cleveland written on it.
'The Chosen One' the one meant to finally bring Cleveland a CHIP

Sorry no. I'm taking Prime Kobe, Prime Tmac or Prime Jordan over Lebron every time..
1. Jordan
2. LeBron
3. Kareem
4. Magic
5. Duncan
The tattoo point just makes it better because he was that hyped up before he could buy a pack of smokes and lived up to it which no athlete has or ever has to do again.
Why do people never mention Tim Duncan
Colin the greatest at spitting while talking
The only guy who played in the NBA putting respect on Kobe's name ! Lebron will have the best stats ever, but in the crunchtime guarding each other, who do you trust to take you to the win. Slight edge to Kobe.
Pretty sure "chosen one" is mostly about him being the "chosen one" from the inner city to being able to be in the NBA
I'm not a Kobe fan but name the HOF Kobe played with on his last two titles? none can't say that about lb
