You are breaking my heart. I grew up with these old outboard motors. I'm a Gulf of Mexico guy now. I wish I lived on a lake again with a smaller boat and outboard. Those were the days.

I have a sweet running 1959 18 hp. Johnson outboard. Had electric start installed and vintage shift box and cable controls... love it ....Gary in Michigan

My dad had an 18hp Evinrude...about a 70 or so year model and a 14 ft Jon boat. Had a blast in it for years. Eventually upgraded to a 18 ft Challenger with an Evinrude 135 ,then a 16ft Jon with a 25 Johnson, a 15 ft trihull with a 35Evinrude until a tree fell on it. Then it was my turn to buy one and I got a 16 ft deep v tracker with a 40hp Johnson. Finally got to enjoy it last Summer and looking forward to about March and some warmer and dryer air.
