in 1989 I had an Evinrude 18 fast twin with a four-bladed prop in those exact colours. she was pushing a 1959 dolphin cabin boat 18 feet. I now have a 1977 johnson ex-royal marines 25 horsepower I am fixing up. I am hoping to find an affordable starter motor one day. it will be pushing an ex-RNLI four-meter rubber Avon.

T-Mike I had a Johnson 18hp and it did run and sounded different than mine.
She has some get up and go. Bummer the prop slipping.

@@michaeljsimon mine has both. I am looking for electric starter. Previous owner ripped wires and made starter button the kill switch however, but electric starter is still mounted.
