- Let's talk about the beautiful, messy masterpiece and its take on both improv and interview shows. Comedy Bang Bang is a force all its own, and there's so much to be said about this show. Scott Aukerman. Hot Saucerman.
A lot has been said about CBB in the last year because the show just celebrated 10 years (wow!) but I don't think the Comedy Bang Bang gets nearly enough credit for how unique and revelatory it really is. A fantastic premise with A+ execution. You don’t know who’s coming, that open-door policy. For someone like me who’s used to stand-up, this silliness is refreshing. And damn, I love that they never admit that they’re characters.

YES. Comedy Bang Bang has been such a joy and comfort in my life for years. I listen every Monday. I have the Stitcher app just so I can listen to the live episodes. I've sought out the other podcasts of my favorite guests. I own CBB shirts. Etc.

This was a great analysis into the world of CBB! Thank you for taking the time to make it! It's a joyful podcast that got me into the whole world of podcasting wayy back in 2013.
I'm pretty sure I subbed to you for this video, but then it was too long so I didn't watch it, but I've been enjoying all of your videos and today finally came back and watched this one!

Did you listen to Threedom when that was running? I was such a big fan because I also love Paul F Thompkins and Lauren Lapkis. Anyway great video, you're so right!

As somebody who travels around Europe a lot, I load up on podcasts during the long train rides. At first CBB baffled me because I didn't really understand it. I stopped listening for a while, and then I gave it a try again and the concept suddenly made perfect sense. It's the only improv show that I like. I don't find Improv4humans to be funny and while I initially liked Magic Tavern, I grew tired of it after a few episodes.
