A Brilliant Stand-Up Comedy VIDEO GAME (Featuring Martin Hanses)

Months ago, Martin came to me and told me that he wanted to make a video game about stand-up comedy. My interest was piqued, to say the least. Now, the prologue is available to play for free on steam, and truly, the game blew me away. The art, the dialogue, the stand-up, the attention to detail, the creativity -- this game is incredibly charming and way better than I could have imagined!

Thanks for introducing this game, I thought it was great.
When I chose my stats, I kind of based it on myself so I put most of my points in Self-Awareness and all that did was just increase my character's anxiety and it didn't make him funnier on stage at all...
This game about cartoon fish might be a little too realistic...

Such a cool, unique idea. Major kudos to Martin for actually creating something that looks pretty engaging and quite fun! I'm neither a comedy buff nor a gamer, and yet here I am hoping to play this game soon! Awesome video as usual :)

Stand up comedy does work in fiction, but I agree for the video game part.. can't see how it can be done

@@KatieMears I loved the HBO tv show Louie from Louis ck, the king of comedy movie with De Niro was also nice.. of course you can't have a movie where it's only stand up.. but stuff going on around it sure. There are not a lot of great examples but these two are pretty good in my opinion

@@KatieMears I'm Dying Up Here was a great tv show about stand up comedians. Crashing is another show, but not my favorite.

@@MrBouhejba That's Louis doing his ACTUAL standup bits, and stitching them into the show. I have to agree with Katie here that standup written particularly to represent the artform/event in a story comes off bland at best and cringe at worst.
