    It's so interesting that Mark Twain hasn't been in the history of comedy convo as much as he should. Especially when the most prestigious humorist award is named after him!

    Thanks for these recommendations! Had Running the Light on my list but didn't realize I could listen on Audible! And didn't know Wayne's podcast was now a book! I freakin love that podcast.
    I'm Dying Up Here is a great story about the history of The Comedy Store and the strike.

    Thanks for this, Katie ... weird thing with humor books ... everyone says they don't really read humor books (romance, sci-fi, etc.) .... but a few years back, I had a David Letterman "Top 10 List" book on my desk at work, and everyone who walked by wanted to read it, and if they started reading it out loud (there amongst the cubes), everyone would start laughing!

    I'm listening to Running the Light at the moment in Audible. Some of the comedian readers are terrible but the story is dark and compelling. I hope an actual story kicks in soon though
