Ooo my favorite fun fact about this movie is that the reason they incorporated the empire waist dresses in Clueless was to reference the original book the movie plot is based on, Emma by Jane Austen, and the time period it took place in. I always thought it was so interesting they managed to take that really old fashioned Regency era silhouette and modernized it so it fit with the wardrobe while being a fun little nod to the original story. Also loooved the video esp loved you adding your own looks at the end♡
Omggg I didn’t know that but it makes so much sense now that you told me haha I love that they modernized Emma in such a well done way, I feel like Cher is definitely full of Emma’s characteristics but for the modern era! And I’m glad that you enjoyed the video hehe🥰🤍🤍
Then i was obsessed with chers outfit, but now im like drooling over dionnes- like how did i not notice how stylish she was- like in my eyes she's way more stylish than cher

ugh i always loved the clueess tv show im so glad its getting recognition. the actor for cher in tv show did amazing job emulating alica's cher!!
I wish it gets a lot more recognition, I think it's a really fun show full of great fashion looks! and yeah, I think she became her own Cher later on and I like both tbh, I love how well both actresses handled the role!

Lisa, I'm your biggest fan right now with this video. I first saw the show! Before the movie. I know, it's crazy but I was young and I was watching More Nickelodeon rather the movie channels so I have this show on my heart. It's stunning and very funny. I'm surprised for the bad reception in United States. I'm from Argentina and watched it everyday with my sister. I even was surprised that Cher wasn't the same actress FROM THE TV SERIES. Insane. I love Clueless the movie but the show has its thing 💜

I loved both movie and tv series equally. People talk bad about the tv series but that's only because it's not the original and is therefore seriously underrated. The tv series did the movie justice and Rachel Blanchard was a great replacement for Alicia Silverstone.

I love the show! My story goes that I watched the show before the movie on the now extint the-n channel! I used to love it even then they would only pass it like around 6am so I would wake up early before going to school! Then I watched the movie and loved it as well and thats why I have a love for both! I wish it was avaliable on a streaming site since the one in youtube has to cut out the music parts 😞

I've been a fan of Clueless since it first aired and watched and taped all the episodes when they were first-run. I think I might be the one of the only people who likes the TV show even better than the movie! I loved the bright colors they used, and I thought it was really funny!
I really liked the show too! I think the show has a purer energy, and it’s fun to watch haha
@@LisaFevral Definitely! I like the fact they had a lot more room to explore stories and characters too since they weren't confined to a two hour time frame.
And Cher is a bigger sweetheart there
the problem with the show is that not all the actors from the movie appear in the show mainly alicia so people just had a distain for it but i (vaguely) remember it being popular (i was a baby but i have all these vague childhood memories) and like it ran for 3 seasons so it must’ve been doing well also it had guest stars like nsync - tbh iconic and yes i always loved the outfit like you said they were campy and for a teen show the outfits just made sense
im gonna use your board so much now besides the winx and y2k once haha thank you for taking your time and making it in the first place
