I said screw it and took the front bumper off. Made it so much easier to tuck the wires. Zip tied em through the front support, connected to the battery and removed the wheel well liners to make it easy to thread the wire through the firewall. Drilled a hole in the grommet and pushed the wire through and removed the trims inside and connected it. If you tap in to your windshield wipers or something that only works when your car is on you can get your fogs to turn off when your car is off as well. Did mine today and added the yellow tint on my black hatch 💯 also like the idea of having to manually turn the fogs off that way you can run the fogs by themselves, with the DRL’s and or with your headlights 😮💨
Yeah true I could do some more work and make it a little more legit, this was just the easiest/ fastest way i found in order to better help others who may be interested in doing so! 😃
did the same thing with mine, hooking it up to the washer fluid fuse with a splicer was perfect, tucked everything away under the dash and wired on the bumper support. I didn't drill a hole through the Gromit though. Would you suggest doing that? do you think that would bring water behind the firewall? was worried at first but my coworker at the shop said it would be fine.
Left and right is always when sitting in the car, or any vehicle for that matter. Also it's interesting cause my girlfriends SE corolla hatch has all those things you listed plus a heated steering wheel, heated wipers. Which are usefull as its -40°C here in Canada lmao. But I definitely wanna get this kit for her. Seems pretty straight forward! 👍🏽👍🏽
L and R is sitting in the car which is left and right, it couldn’t say Driver side and Passenger side because in some country the driver side is on the opposite
I'm happy to see that you don't need to take off the whole bumper to install fog lights. That's what was giving me hesitation, as I've heard that once you take off the bumper, it never fits right again. For $100, it really doesn't look bad. I'm trying to do small mods first, so I'm upgrading my horn next, but this might be a contender once it's warmer outside. Do you notice a difference when driving at night? In my old car, I usually just leave the fog lights on to see better, especially on long highway drives.

I’ve been debating on either going with the Short Ram Injen tuned Or Short ram TRD Or get the “ full CAI” by 2J racing front bumper CAI Just not sure lol 😂 I feel that the 2jr Long would be the best for torque and the few hp gains. Rather then the short ram. What do you guys think?
There must be some major differences between us and canadian cars, my 2022 se has heated seats and wireless charging. Noticed that your front emblem is not in the same place as mine. Was that a change you made or…? Mine is located in the panel right above where yours is.
XSE has full black interior..... And I have leather/cloth seats. Why wouldn't you want the better car? I've never heard someone try saying they wanted the lower trim for such ridiculous reasons. Just say it costed more and you didn't want to pay.

Yeah they help in fog as intended and add a bit more of extra light to compliment the headlights but not too crazy of a difference
