- I wanted to show you the most effective way to stop flat tires on any bike. I am using my Ariel rider grizzly v2 to do this install. Is it harder to put the inserts in for the back tire of the grizzly? Do you have a tutorial of that as well?
I just use thorn proof inner tubes only downside there air valves can pop off when chaining tire.
So I cut the inner tube wrapped around a new one and doubled up .

i bought these because of your first video and i havent had a flat in three months of riding over goat heads. solid investment but it's a pain in the ass to get them in skinny tires. i went up to 2.2 from 1.9 on the rear tire and it was much easier to get them in.

Thanks for posting this; yesterday I changed my two tires on my Grizzly and added these tannus liners too. It went pretty easily, thanks to you, and then I did a test ride. The new tires and liners felt very solid. Also, I found out when removing the old tires that they had put the directional tires in backwards at the factory. Thanks for pointing out the arrows on the tires; I looked it up on Google and not having the directional tires going the right direction can cause quite a few problems with bikes, including longer breaking distances and poor cornering. Thanks again!

did you notice any change in rolling resistance, ie in torque or max speed, I would have to imagine at least a tiny difference but what's your take on it...

The fatter ones. I am not sure of the sizing, but I think its one size fits all for fat tire 20'. I love them!

Be sure to LOOK first before sliding your hand around. If there was a sharp object, you would just cut your hand. The included tubes are smaller to make up for the thickness of the foam by the way. I installed some on my bike about 2-3 weeks ago. I was running 30 PSI, but now I can run 12 PSI. No flats of yet.

My Grizzly is showing up on Friday and I'm not sure when the liners are coming... I ordered the bike and like 5 other items; and they're coming as like 4 separate shipments.
I have an Ariel rider x class. The tire liners seem like a great idea but I’ve hear they can cause a wobble and other issues. Yours may be fine but that’s why I decided not to go with them. One thing I would say is that the stock tires are really bad and I recommend upgrading them. I put some more street worthy tires on the the grip around corners and the tire noise is so much better

I kept arguing with my self to get these or not. Well I got a flat and while checking the tube I found a small leak at a seam of the tube. A manufacturing defect. It was at the inside of the tube not the riding surface. New tubes new tires and inserts plus Fibre goop in the tube. I guess I'm a suspender belt kinda guy.

Aren't the innertubes that tannus give you supposed to be slightly smaller to compensate for the liner taking up room? I thought that's why you should use them over your normal innertubes.
That might be true, I used the stock ones and they’ve been riding just fine with no issues👍🏽
I'm thinking on buying a grizzly. Could the grizzly pull a 50 lb. cart up a pretty steep gravel road? I use a tw 200 now and am wanting to go electric but not pay $6000 for a Rambo ebike.
Absolutely! The dual motors put out a lot of power. You could also do it with the dclass too. The grizzly is just the brother on steroids to the dclass. You will love it. I think it has a bit of a wait , but so worth it!

Thanks for asking. That’s all dependent on your body weight. I weigh 184 lbs and have 25psi front and back.
They are like $70 each at that cost you might as well just get Vee Tire Huntsman tires would be much better investment they are like 3x more puncture resistant than regular tires.

I'm guessing because its tedious and time and labor intensive and would raise build costs and time.
Tires could easily be mftrd with a hardened layer of ceramic material on the inside with no liner or tube needed, but all those repair and patch kit sales would disappear. 🤣

Lol it was just as easy. Just move and lock the derailleur. Same lock nuts to pop. You got it🤘🏽😂
Grissly tires were advertised as puncture resistant, what extra is the Tannus armour doing that the tires can't
It’s resistant like a water resistant watch is to water. It can get wet, but if you get it too wet or go too deep then it’ll break. Kinda the same thing with the tire. It has a tread pattern that is supposed to deflect and make it more resistant to flats from small objects. The tannus gives it a much better chance at stoping longer sharp objects from puncturing the tube. I’m literally in the middle of filming a video testing them with glass, screws, tacks and staples. Making a controlled area with that debris to ride on. Few days or so it’ll be up. Thanks for the comment🤘🏽

The simple answer get motorcycle compound tires then the only flats you will get are the same that would flatten a car tire
I here people still gets flats and if that's the case it's not worth the money.
This is good, but time consuming and fiddly. You could just inject green goo into the tyre in the first place, which hardens and seals on contact with air in the event of a puncture.

You don't want to use all that crap in your tires. Just adding weight and roller resistance. Fat tires almost never get flats, people just insist on over inflating them. All you really need is a decent Rim liner, or Gorilla Tape or duct tape will do as well. Put a tiny bit of baby powder on the inside of your tire, and keep the PSI below 15. That's it, you might get a flat every couple years or so., or you may never get one. 🤷 I got one flat sine 2017, it's not because I'm lucky,
