    I am working on another Harley. This one does have fluid under this cover, wich is it??
    Gear oil or motor oil??
    The fluid came out now I have to put it back in.

    How about the Rubber attachments on the stock cable? How do you pull those off and put them on the new one? The new one didnt come with those gaskets and it looks like they dont come off?

    I appreciate you making the video but if you don’t tell us which bolts were loosened, it’s a guessing game on the viewers part. Did you have to loosen the clamps on the crossover pipe also ? Did you loosen all four nuts on both front and rear flanges? Thanks in advance.

    You mentioned fluid a few times so is this for a cable clutch or hydraulic line?

    Since you loosen the crush gaskets at the head and don't replace them, does this create an exhaust leak at all, or for some?

      For the most part they seal back up. They are made of a lead like composite, and will usually seal back up just fine. If you want to replace them, by all means, do so. However, it’s not always necessary.
