Another great video Robert. For 50 years I've always had a service manual and a Parts Book beside me when wrenching. Respect from East Coast Canada.
Yall should make a video on early year road king ape hanger install
Thank you excellent video 👌🏼👍🏼
Excellent information.
The clutch ramp tip is a really good one. It also reduces the clutch pull pressure on the lever.
Thank you! Super!👌

Hi mate
Nice video, I m doing my handlebar on Harley deluxe 2018 with smaller connector. But when I Cut the wiring to extend I didn’t notice that there are 2 wires of each colour. Now I can tell as it’s been cust . Bit dumb of me. I tried to find wiring diagram to match the wires but no luck. Have you got any idea which side which as on 2018 there are no sleeves on the wire like older models.
Patiently waiting on new content lol
I have a 2016 Vulcan S and I’m getting 18” ape hangers. How do I know where or what cable kit would be the correct one to get?
Hi I need help and hopefully you can point me in the right direction I have received my 14 in LA choppers apes and complete wiring and cable kit and I was wondering if there is a video for replacing apes and kit on a 2004 harley heritage softail as me and my cousin are goin to do them ourselves please respond need help!
Can any of these issues or something else "common" trip a safety switch? As in disable the bike after swapping bars?
What size of bars are on that bike?

Where can I get a ape hanger kit for a 2006 Honda vtx 1300r looking for a 14” kit
I bought apes because of the pullback they can give you. I’m, short and prefer the look over reach handlebars. He’s right, don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.
Hello. I'm going to install 12 in handelbar. Is need any extinction electrical wiring ultra 2016
No
0:57 what is the Name of the ape? Looks Great !
Good evening. I have a question. I installed 18” apes on my 2014 road king non abs, I wired the bars internally with heat shrink, however my right blinker and oil light on the dash stays illuminated but when I put it in gear the oil light goes out. I also have no neutral light now. I pulled the wires back out to check for any disconnections or breaks and have found nothing. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you
Email the guy. Don’t be a clown
I"m about to put some 16" Carlini 1.50" dia gangsters on a 2011 RKC. God Help me. Thanks for the tips sir.
@Sgt Rock, how’d that work out. I love those bars. I want my bars still be just below my shoulders. I’m 6 feet. Was thinking about the Carlini 14’s. I’m worried they might be a little high
Wine ,chicks, drugs and kicks apehanger days. Thank you David mann
For the love of God, where do you get a $60 dollar manual? HD charged me $129 for touring manual
Ebay
Service manuals cost 130
Why pay 60 bucks when all the info is free online?
You know I am a DIY kind of guy, but for this kind of stuff I'll leave it to the Pros so I could enjoy my ride knowing that it was done right the first time.
I was scared installing my smart siren 2 on new Softails, too many stuffs to remove but the key is that you have all tools. I end up finishing it in less than an hour, the damn dealer quoted me 2 hrs ($95 per hr) to finish it.
Mistake number 1, installing ape hangers.
+Elvis LOL!!!!!
Mistake #2 - Never giving them a chance. They are popular for many good reasons. Don’t knock it till ya try it. Once you go ape, you’ll never go back.
Mistake number 1, don't think your opinion is for everyone.
@@HillCountryCustomCycles Exactly! Don't knock em till you try em! I will always ride with apes and I just have a few years riding experience. Over 50 years of riding to be exact! Fr. East Coast Canada 😈
it's surprising how well they function if you don't go to tall!
David Jean I agree. I draw a distinction between “tall bars” and apes.
Mistake #1: installing ape hangers
What is wrong with the sound?
