Save time? I've been doing this work for a month already! First i couldn't run wires through a sharp angle on the handelbar, then i bought handelbars with rubber caps on the sides where i could hardly run wires, then the main problem is the stock handelbar has 1.25 inch clamp width, but 99% percent of all ape hangers have 1 inch clamp base, then it was hard to find 1 inch mount, when i found it eventually I found out that it doesn't have thread for my original bolts and i need different bolts with nuts which now i can't find anywhere, what a pain in the ass, i don't understand how almost everybody has those ape hangers installed if there are no proper parts 😢

Iam from Australia i had a Yamaha royal star fantastic bike until the coolant broke with ape style bars and they were very comfortable, i now have a 04 ultra classic and wouldn't mind giving ape hangers a go , i do relize the expense but once there on no going back and iam almost 65 been riding 45 years and 5 bikes..

Cables are 2 parts, what about measuring only the upper cable( the one that goes to to lever) How do you measure only that half. I noticed you're not answering anybody's question please answer mine!

My favorite place to do chinups is on I5.

I put 14 inch meat hooks on my 21 street glide. Should there be a higher torque than on stock bars.

What the hell is wrong on my road king front brakes..try this and everything else many times but no. No brakes at all. New fluid, repairing kit on master cylinder, nothing helps😟

Years ago a Kawasaki mechanic told me that.......well he didn't specify lower bolt, I had been removing upper, yesterday raising rear on Sportster w/stock pipes the bottom bolt was in the way But I don't lower bike to take axle out over the pipes, I raise the bike to take axle out under the pipes......also makes it easier to get wheel out from under fender As with the Sportster yesterday, I was just making room to get into the left turn signal

Shoulder height bars will never work for ANY dual sport or adventure motorcycle. Ditto for 99% of non-Harley touring bikes. Never on a sport bike. Only for Harley riders who never go off road. Even gravel roads can become dangerous with ape hangers. Note that all ape hanger bars can cause worse rider damage on frontal crashes compared to lower stock bars. Finally note that for the best motorcycle handling and quickness, ape hangers are the worst type of bar ever designed. Ape hangers are for vain riders, mostly newbies, that think they will make their bike look "bad". Or just plain silly.

I wish I could like this 10 times! Absolutely resolved my spongey front brake issue aftertryingbthe old way repeatedly. Ordered a big syringe and was over and done in 5 minutes. This is exactly how you get a new sub!

Don't forget there's one other way to cancel CC. Just pull in the clutch lever. The engine wants to rev up which cancels the CC.

UH, Brakes are kinda important on a bike. Im leaving it up to the experts to change my fluid and properly activate the ABS pump to flush it too.
