A lot of them just keep going on and on with too much unneeded info or don’t say enough leaving you with questions about the whole process. You’re left with the “ I can do this feeling” after listening to her.

6:39 Do I understand correctly that I first have to mix mushroom spawn 50/50 with the bulk substrate? And at the end a 1 cm top layer with pure bulk substrate, i.e. the 50/50 coconut fiber, vermiculite Mix. How did this work for u?

This is definitely one of the best videos to get the basics on growing mushrooms. I've watched six or seven videos now and everybody else makes it very convoluted. They get way too into the small minor details and break it up into multiple confusing videos. This one's perfect A quick overview of the entire process. Thank you so much

Tons of places online some sell them in stores, just have to do some research. I’ve tried “Eden Shrooms” they have worked for me. You just need to make sure where you buy from keeps it sterile.

Seeing you do things like: not crumbling up the spawn as small as possible and not tediously wiping the sides of your monotub, of all excess substrate, is anxiety relieving. Hi Ashley, Jaye from Aus here and I just want to thank you for your no nonsense approach to the actual title of the video.
You have taught me so very much and I am so grateful because a year on it’s still soo much going on and to learn but it’s just so much fun to learn and achieve new and broad types of mushrooms.
Between a mate and I changing it up often we have collected about 30-40 spore prints and have successfully cultivated the agar agar dishes.
Lions mane was illegal here in Aus for a long time, but now I have a few growths, but I have a magnificent Lions Mane on a tree in my yard where I smeared the agar on to the tree and out of six slices three of them took and formed and is just glorious 🙏🏽

I've been growing off and on for 20 years and this is EASILY the best and most concise video I've ever come across. Things that were really daunting for years, you show as being quite simple. Excellent job, and that inflatable mono tub is an amazing concept.

Best video ive found. My bag is about 20% colonized. I saw a video that said not to mix it up till about 40-50% . Im so happy you said 10-30%. The hard part is waiting. Im so excited to do stuff ASAP!😅
