    Viewers beware ! These outboards engines turn CLOCWISE. Fitting in the impeller while rotating the drive shaft the other way (as the gentleman does in the video ) will bend its fins the wrong way. Starting the motor will then most than likely cause some fins to rupture and a loose bit may very well get stuck in the block's water passages ... and you don't want that to happen. By the way, regardless of showing cracks, a "memory set" impeller (aka curved fins) should always be replaced. Added bonus here : smear some petroleum gelly (Vaseline) in the pump housing upon reassembly. Regards !

      @@MrKalicat With all due respect and unless the video was shot in the ''Inverse side'' mode, the fins appear bent the wrong way as the impeller is slid in place.
      While we are at it, the water pump copper tube sometimes comes off as you pull the lower unit but you will make your life a lot simpler by re-inserting it in the rubber grommet that holds it at the base of the power head before attempting to slide the lower unit back in. Regards !
