Also, I know it has been months since you posted this video, but I have noticed that warpath has a new ad policy: sponsor CZcamsrs, have them do some kind of skit or talk about the game, and then steal those recordings to put in their ads. I can't be entirely sure if it is the case or if the CZcamsrs agree to it, but I doubt they do agree to it.

To this day I still wonder why these companies haven't been nailed for false advertising. If they were pushing health supplements or some other physical product, BAM.
I also wonder if they're targeting the lower end of the age spectrum if they're actually getting downloads, much less IAPtrap suckers off the fake ads. 🤔

Yeah, apparently it was made by the same people that made the Warthunder cinematic trailer, that's why it had such high quality, the people who made it actually gave a shit
They also sponsored some gun youtubers. Brandon Herrera was one of them but i can't remember the others

@@baneofbanes true. I don’t put the blame on the people who are in the ads. It’s just how some scrape by, and lets be honest, some are probably from Eastern Europe or something and need to make ends meet. The company’s themselves are definitely just a bunch of talentless shills

The saddest part about this is that it actually works in bringing more players, unfortunately. You might look at these ads and see that its just as unbelievable as the "hot singles in your area" meme but there are children who just eat this up. Heck, I caught one of my young relatives playing Rise of Kingdoms. I kinda understand why these companies focus most of their money into their advertising rather than the actual game. I wouldn't be surprised if these game companies had more animators then actual game developers. It's like a loop: they put money into adds, get more money and then put that money into more adds which in turn, produces more money. It won't stop until it stop producing these companies more money which is why more self awareness on this topic needs to be spread and that's exactly what you're doing, Gene, great work.

When they said “m14” in one of the ads, the m14 was only in use during Vietnam so when they say Warpath is “realistic”, they are lying.
Apparently, Lilith Games committed the same sin with what Activision did with Vanguard: Marketing alternate timeline WW2 as "realistic".
That is really amazingly stupid coming from that guy specifically. He's called Demolition ranch and he's a guntuber here. The fact that he botches up which guns were used in ww2 while being a guntuber himself amazes me.

Warpath is the most misleading and bad strategy games in the App Store. There was once an ad where you could get free “summons” and get a big advantage. I was sold but was a lie. That’s basically how warpath got good reviews

yea i even tried warpath a while back its a shit game it advertises fakely all the time when i tried it it was nothing like in the add and the local chat which it said was for my region the chat was russian i live in ontario russian isn't the main language here not only that there were constant ads in the game and in order to level you had to use speedups because everything was over a day to upgrade and i was only a level 2 base
