It’s interesting how the context of an ad can be changed with a few tweaks. One is saying “Remember Gandalf riding in at Helm’s Deep? We got a new LotR game.” The other is saying “This is totally actual gameplay, 100% for real.”
Do they really think people would be fooled by adding a on screen joystick pointing in the wrong direction the character is moving in and have a computer mouse click the button that supposedly is on a mobile device?
The way all these mobile app advertisements share similar if not formulaic format, I can't help but wonder if there's a single company with a monopoly on mobile advertisement. 🤔
Also, I don't know what's more disappointing, that even a licensed mobile app has to resort to bait and switch advertisement, or that enough people who should be pissed go on to become dependable whales. 🤦🏽♂️

This game hurts more than others because Lord of the Rings is amazing and Tolkein will be turning in his grave with these adverts.
Why couldn't the company just spend money on the game to make it better instead of putting these terrible adverts out.

Honestly I’m personally enjoying the game. I didn’t even look at the ads before playing and I think that has a huge part in it. Sure it is pay to win. But still very enjoyable even at a free level

You provide good advice without being too forceful when you tell reasons not to buy this crap. I mean, I'm all for forceful good messages, too, but your quasi-casual (it feels like a lot of thought is tucked behind these few words) approach is more effective, I think.

@@nnickplays9713 Sadly, you usually can't go looking for an ad. The ad has to come to you. from there, you have to get the URL of the ad. on desktop, its super easy! on mobile... not so much.

So, for desktop: If you're watching an ad, simply copy the URL!
On mobile, copying the URL doesnt get the link to the ad, it only gets the link to the youtube video you were watching. To get the link for the ad, you have to enable stats for nerds via youtubes settings, and then turn it on while an ad is playing. from there, you copy the video information, paste it into your notes app, and find the video ID within all the info
