Probably the only reason they did a “apology” was because idle hero did it. It’s honestly really sad how companies just steal each other’s idea instead of just being creative and upfront with there game but nonetheless great video as always gene
More and more I'm convinced there's a single company that monopolizes mobile ads.
it isn't easy to figure out who makes the ads, as that's not public information (as far as I'm aware of) but you're not too far off! A lot of companies hire ad agencies to make ads for them. The only reason I don't make a big deal out of that is because the mobile game company is still held responsible regardless.

These apology ads are codswallop. At least this one isn't doing any kind of "Oh we're sorry for doing something that's actually good" type of bullshit. It still stinks, but it stinks a little bit less compared to the rest.
Well, Guardians of Cloudia tho. They lied about their game having a good graphics yet in reality it wasn't. That's far more worse than this.

They're definitely proud of how professionally manipulative they are and didn't miss the chance to swag on everyone. Maybe it didn't gain them many points among some of their clients, but I'm sure that their peers and a good portion of said clients appreciated the lack of shame itself. People love being humiliated with pazzazz nowadays. Dunno what's wrong with them.
The weirdest part is that for an autobattler it's really fun, they don't need the do all this. I've had the game since around Launch, looking for a better alternative to AFK Arena, which it is, but honestly they'd done ads like this from the start, I wouldn't have gotten it

At least the ads aren't for a fish which may or may not be Nemo swimming around below a tub of lava held in place by a fragile system of golden sticks, or a guy running through a street full of zombies, rescuing a damsel in distress every three seconds and gaining 25 levels each time he does so, as each damsel subsequently pulls out minigun and mows down hundreds of zombies while the guy goes on to immediately plant, grow, and eat an entire field of potatoes in the remaining ad time.

also half of the gameplay looks almost exactly like the one in afk arena or at least very very similar
4:29 I get that they're targeting children and this is probably false advertising anyway, but I don't think these companies understand that having incredicly high drop rates for "rare" heroes completely defeats the point of them being rare in the first place and for me, it only drags away the joy of rolling for heroes. If the drop rates were actually like this in the game, I would quit in a day. There has to be some sort of balance between how much rewards the game gives you and the chances of your favourite character dropping. That's why in Genshin Impact, players genuinely freak out when they get the five star they want. You can say the drop rates in genshin are abyssal to a point where they're just money hungry, and that is fair to say but you can't deny why it's something to freak out about for those who do get the character they want, there are other factors of course to why the rolling in genshin is so addicting to many people, but that's basically the main reason. You should start looking into and exposing the companies behind the games btw, lots of shady shit regarding data. a large amount are selling users mined data to the ccp and highest bidder. Lilith games (warpath, AFK arena, Rise of Kingdoms) are a good example.

Haha played both Mobile Legends AND Myhtic Heroes. Uninstalled both after realizing the cold truth about those games. Very appealing, cool heroes in deed. Cool abitilities, sure. But its nothing about creativity or art, its just out there for your money. That's it. I'm done. Merry xmas
