Ah yes, imagine- it’s thanksgiving evening. You’re at the typical family gathering. Both close family, and family who probably don’t even know your name. The Turkey was a bit dry, but you ate it anyways as not to hurt your grandmother’s feelings. You just finished eating your mom’s sweet potato casserole for dessert and figure you don’t have anyone to talk to.
You stand up and walk over to the beanbag in the corner of the room, inserting your cheap Bluetooth earbuds and opening up CZcams to watch some Gene Machine. Though you think they are connected, they are not, and this will prove to be a fatal mistake.
You wade through a cesspool of CZcams drama and Mr. Boss FTW before finally finding it. The new Gene Machine upload. You click it, and see an ad start loading. You sigh, ready to skip the ad, when you realize… your Bluetooth earbuds were never connected- and worse. It’s an ad for the hit mobile game Isekai Demon Waifu.
You panic trying to close CZcams as quickly as possible, but it’s too late. You drop your phone, and the sounds of Japanese women moaning fill the room like some kind of toxic fume.
Your parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles… all of them look at you in disgust as you try desperately to to pick up the phone, but alas, your fingers are covered in grease from the food before- and every attempt to pick up the treacherous device is futile.
Eventually you pick it up, after around 17 seconds, and skip- cutting directly to the, ‘Howdy. This is the Gene Machine’ but it is too late. The damage has been done. Your grandfather sets a heavy hand on your shoulder and utters the cruel words: “Get the hell out.”
What can you do? What is he supposed to think? Can you even defend yourself in this situation? You know it’s pointless. Without a word from anyone in the building, you stand up and slowly leave. Not even bothering to bring your phone charger- and walk out of the house- ready to begin your new life as a homeless nomad, with no ties or connections to anyone.
All that to double standards. I feel bad if that was a true story.
Thoughts and prayers are not enough to bring you salvation from that kind of intense pain.

These ads just make me feel sick when seeing them, especially the fact that they just steal gameplay and characters from far superior games, in 5:05 they just stole one of the MC from Tales of Berseria.
