One thing i found out long ago was a friend used CC to send a funny to everyone on their friends list, somewhere along the line a scamer got hold of the email and boom, everyone's email was picked up. CC should be removed in my opinion for safety of others email addresses. BCC should only be used to send to multiple email addresses.
I like Google's Gmail, it's easy to set up a filter if you're getting the same subject sentence, but the return email changes, I just filter the subject line, if it contains xxx in the subject, it's sent to the trash.
Remember folks, do your friends a favour, use BCC.

In the case of e-mail aliases, how do you manage to reply if you need to?
If family and friends forward your mail they almost always forward intact, including your address.
thats why use an aliase

One more email you should have would be a synchronized email... This email is specifically for synchronization and logging into particular software and hardware. For example, an automatic door that needs to synchronize with your phone and watch to tell you it's working or not. There you go! All your basic. social media accounts that you need to synchronize with your phone..... Yes, one email different passwords for each using the email login feature not the account Google login.
So that makes four.
Private business, synchronization, and span.

I've got 4-5 email boxes, access them all via outlook, quite interesting because it shows which services are selling your data and which actually aren't.

How To stop spam. I have always done a good job keeping my email clean for over 10 years never had that much as spam . But about 6 months ago I just stated getting 100 plus spam a day.
I have one e-mail that I use specifically for registering software and warranties along with emails similar to the other suggestions you use.

I am a small time seller on Amazon and my seller account has a unique email address that has never, ever been used for anything else. What do you know, I start receiving spam emails to that address!
7:20 maybe yes but the problem with that is they can guess the e-mail address sort of just like they guess the log-in (user name+password)/

I've 2 Gmail boxes, one for business and one for junk, also a Yahoo one that I keep as I've had it for nearly 25 years. I consider these all unsecure. Thinking of setting up a 4th through my internet provider but would this be any more secure?
email itself is secure but its how you use it and who sells your data. That is why setting up Alias is perfect for keeping your inbox safe and spam free

I mean, having a disposable email is something I thought was already known. Email Alias, though, that's interesting.
Still, this is decent advice. I suppose I am not the target audience, since I don't engage with social media, and don't get that much spam (maybe a few a week, at most).
yeah - def not the right audience if you only get a few spam emails a week. This is for people who get loads every day and for people who want to sign up for mailing lists and events and still want to protect thier privacy
delete me guess its a payed service i normally flag emails which i know a scams or spam
DeleteMe inst about getting rid of spam - its about getting rid of your information that is publically available for ANYONE to see. This includes your home address, your phone number, your family's info etc.

Do you mean have emails forwarded to another email address? I accidently did that for one email account a few months ago, so emails would go to my semi main email as well as the side one i was using for something, then i did some stupid stuff, now my semi main email is being flooded by junk from the side email forwarding.
