Me and my brother were so excited for this album but also nervous because of how disappointing their last one was. He makes music himself so definitely go give it a listen, would mean a lot to him!

Absolutely agree that self titled and detestor are above the next albums,they completely missed me for a long time but this album got my attention back to this band,i play it nonstop.
Yea I love their self titled album. I remember when I found HLB and that first came out. Listened to it non-stop and still go back to the original and remastered to listen to it, to this day. This album is incredible, as for the clipping, i hear it too, waiting for the cd to come in so i can compare the headphone experience to the 1000$ stereo system in my car, but yea i think it was intentional, ive heard Buster say in an interview that he is cautious of his ears, hes not trying to lose his hearing haha, either way the more i listen to this album the more i notice and the more i like it, and then Vildhjarta is hinting at new music, so is No Oath, so is Indistinct and Coldblood Supplicant, Tesseract has their album coming out, this year is insane as fuck for music.

Gotcha, yea that's what others are saying as well. It's an interesting choice because it does sound like a mistake, but maybe it'll grow on me. I do love the theme of the album as a whole. And you're right, Valde was a lot cleaner and the theme was different, for sure
@@mourn_official If you know Buster, it was intentional. I feel like he made it that way to feel like gravity crushing you when listening. He could have easily not made it that way at all based on his past production choices.

i noticed that about the mix , its the album theme that makes it like that heavy i guess , valde was more chill even in the mix was so clean
