It's absolutely class. By the way, crying out for a hero is written for the hero Kenshiro in the anime Fist of the North Star
I'm not usually into metal, but this stuff makes me think of some of my favorite songs from the 80s. There's also an anime opening theme quality to the vibe. I love this band so much. Definitely gonna be listing to the entire discography on Spotify and playing it through the car on trips.
It does indeed have an anime opening quality...especially with Cry Out and Die by the blade
Beast in Black was designed to evoke the 80s feeling of metal, spot on. The manga Berserk was also a major inspiration for the band
Berserk and Fist of the North Star were major influences, they are really mans of culture

It took me a while to realize that Cry Out For A Hero was about Fist of the North Star! When they sang "with seven scars and fists of fury", I knew they were talking about Kenshiro. My favorite anime right behind Berserk. These guys have good taste. edit: I finished FotNS 2 three nights ago and it was utterly badass. Took me until 37 to watch the series and man I am glad that I did!
