    If you want to buy from the VAG then assume you customer service ends as soon as you drive it off the lot and you won't be disappointed! Then you can deal with your transmission,turbo,motor,injector,dpf problems etc,etc with the knowledge that you were forewarned. Oh and by the the way good luck with 11.5K for the transmission alone, let alone the time in the shop or the exquisitely sublime experience of dealing with the VAG customer service team!

    I've driven this Lexus recently on a test drive and he is right when he says it just doesn't pack the same punch as a SQ5 let alone a standard Q5 TDi. The interior of the Lexus is great and quite comfortable whereas the Q5 leather interior is a lot firmer. The F Sport designation doesn't do anything for performance but more on the style. The only thing these two cars have in common is the price point.

    Reviewers don’t need to deal with reliability problems. Hence the Audi. But ask the owners of these 2 cars and see which one odd happier in 2022 after 9 years

    Q5 2.5/5 for reliability. Rx 5/5. Check out JD power report.

    Press the sport button on the Lexus!!! Much quicker than Audi.

    Anoth stupid comparison. The Lexus IS oriented towards fuel efficiency and comfort. The Audi is geared toward sports and performance. Both a good cars . But Audi cheated with dieselgate

    This guy doesnt care about quality. Youll spend more time getting your car fixed when you buy the Audi. If you want a quality car then buy a Lexus.

    ..but first of all, the Lexus will least for 30 years, the Audi.. well.. who knows :)

    Audi gives you punch to your back and punch to your wallet with all failures and breakdowns. Lexus all the way! Hands down better car

    Audi will break down in 5 years, transmission failure,oil leaking everywhere.

      You obviously do not know anything about Audi. they had a bat reputation in the pass but they fixed it and it still was running smoother than any lexus out there

    The SQ5 is a angry dad's SUV. No point to compare it with the Rx450H, which is a qiute mum's car.

    Testing this for sport capabilities is pointless.

    Yeah... This wasn't much of a comparison. I would take SQ5 over other top performance SUVs like BMW X6 M or Mercedes Benz ML63. SQ5 is ALMOST as fast as those two, AND costs half as much, AND (if you ask me) LOOKS better as well :)

    That gear selector in Lexus looks horrible!!!

    • @kubanskiloewe
      @kubanskiloewe Před 5 lety +2

      perhaps but it stands perfect in your hand when resting your arm....only open the hand and grip it. first time i thought the same but after a while i liked it a lot. What i dont like is the gear column and the heavyness where my wife always get worried how to put in the right stage. But if you dont look at it and shift than all goes fine, hahaha.

    Why compare chalk and cheese? A German car is never going to compare to a Japanese car. Lexus is just an overpriced Toyota.

    • @chillypacman
      @chillypacman Před 10 lety +13

      The RX450h is based on a Lexus platform and drivetrain, meanwhile Audi is incorporating more and more of VWs platform and dirve train

      What VW shares any major components as a Veyron? The engines are virtually identical in Lexus and Toyota.

    • @carholic-sz3qv
      @carholic-sz3qv Před 6 lety +1

      yes of course not only the engin but also the electronics the car is almost entirely engenieered by vw even though it is built in france it is the same story with lexus that share engine and electronics with toyota
